Avenue des Champs-Élysées - 2001

Twisty left bank streets
Broad boulevards of fashion
I wish I was there

Latin Quarter - 2011

Some cities are canyon-lands, arrow straight asphalt rivers flowing with humanity.  I’ve visited the empty windswept avenues at the foot of gleaming towers growing in the open prairie, and I’ve seen dirty little cities of mean buildings and meaner streets.  There are gatherings of government buildings and museums with little humanity of their own while other communities speak of common folk and private lives.  From alleys with the tangy taste of salt air to skyscrapers dwarfed by lofty mountains, I’ve visited all kinds of cities and have strolled many roads.  Few places on this Earth, though, have streets that invite a person for walk as do the streets of Paris.

Buildings by the Seine - 2002

I have no regrets
Wandering along the Seine
Only memories

Rue, no rue

Paris is a great city. I’ve visited 3 times and would go back at the drop of a hat. If you want help, just ask – thinking about Paris is not a task I avoid! Thanks for the comments!
