A silly little blues I made today. That is, wrote lyrics and music and then recorded today. This is the first time I cranked up the studio in over a year. It felt good to record, though I made myself a little hoarse. This is very very rough – purposefully rough. Straight up vocals with no processing. Not much different from a basement tape in the 1980s except it’s all digital.

Although I play and write all types of music this is a little different from my usual. Listen to some of what I have posted on my music page and I think you can tell the difference. Still, things like this are fun.

I like drawing of the cup. Also the music piece, it is the first time I’ve heard something like that !

Thanks Zee. This is pretty rough and my voice is awful, but i bet if i had a drummer playing with me you’d say, “OK, I know what he was trying to do.” Besides my voice this was all recorded one line at a time with a retro-synth called a Mini Moog. If you go to the “Trent’s Music” page you’ll see a picture of me in front of my Mini. Even if it was different, I hope you liked it!

  As long as singing makes you happy nobody should be able to tell you, you can or can’t sing ! At the end of the day its about how it makes you feel and that is all what matters :)
