Grains of Sand

Count all the beach sand
Every microscopic grain
Still I love you more

Grains of Sand

Two weeks in a row the Haiku-HaiTuesday has turned a little more romantic.  I’ll admit that this week I was inspired by the sand.  I needed an excuse to post the pictures I took over the weekend so I wrote an appropriate haiku.

Hi there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after checking through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Nonetheless, I’m definitely happy I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back frequently! kabddabcdfag

I must say the patterns look perfect and rugged at the same time.
They remind me of one phrase that keeps ringing in my mind every time I write something unbelievable: the sands of time.
The sands in the pictures look like they have been still and at peace forever.
Now am beginning to think am not making sense.. the beach does that to me sometimes.
    Great pictures, Trent. :-)

Thanks! This is a great area to walk at low tide. Every time I go out there the patterns are completely different. When I walk I hate destroying the the sand sculpture even though I know that in a few hours the tide will come back in and erase everything.

Thanks Pranita! I can’t take enough pictures of those patterns – there so fascinating. I did have a post a while back that featured patterns in the sand. It is one of the ones I will most likely revisit.
