Awake at dawn
To chase rabbits on the run
Now for kibble
Breakfast with rising sun
Next to the beach
For some doggone sandy fun
Home for a rest
The morning is too quickly done

Stop for lunch
More kibble on a doggy tray
Another walk
Some exercise to restart the day
After the ball
The most serious work is a bunch of play
One minute’s rest
Find a shady spot in which to lay

Up again
Play engine’s boiler’s been fired
Old dead crab
Bunch of stinky things must be acquired
Chase those birds
One in the paw is to be desired
Crash tonight
This pup is just plain dog tired
