Cape Cod, August 2014

I spent a week at the “camp” down on the Cape in late August with my parents. Since I took so many pictures I decided to split them into 4 posts.

The first post was ‘Osprey Hour and Midair Battle’ which featured photos taken in one trip out on the kayak.

The second post, ‘Swans’, featured the different swan families we saw in two ponds.

The third post followed our whale watch tour.

Here are miscellaneous other pictures. OK, I’ll admit I added three photos in from this last weekend, but I wanted to use them sometime.

Click on a picture to bring up a larger version and a slide show. Hope you enjoy!

Your bird shots are MARVELLOUS. I’m truly impressed, inasmuch as you have never pretended to be ‘a bird photographer’, eh ? But you’re in danger, there. :-D
Wonderful shots, Trent ! More please !!!

Thanks M-R! I know, in another year people will say, “Hey, have you looked at that bird photography site, Trent’s Wold, the Blog?” I need to start spending my weekends in Boston doing street photography but I’m sure I’ll still find birds.

Thanks! knowing your past with photographers and photography I take it as a double compliment. It wouldn’t be awful, but at times I pretend that this is a literary blog. Actually it’s supposed to be about art, creativity and such, but the photography does occasionally take over.

Thanks! I appreciate the nomination but currently run an award free blog. I’ll stop back by and take a look at some of the other sites you posted, though I did recognize quite a few with just a quick read-through. Thanks again.

Thanks Eloise! As I said to Ali, I haven’t had as many comments on a Facebook post since since the last time I posted my dad’s picture. Did you notice the bird just above the water in the sunset picture? I love the patterns in the sand on the beach and have used similar photos a few times. I don’t get tired of them.

No I didn’t notice the bird – I shall go take a second look. I honestly loved all of them, but my favourite has to be the sand patterns. It’s incredible how nature creates such beauty that is ever-changing yet the same…the sand in different forms and patterns. I’m waffling! Right off I go to look at those gorgeous photos again!
