Thanksgiving 2014

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the US. During this time we step back and take a look at the things we take for granted and give thanks for the things we have. Personally, I give thanks for my friends and wonderful family. Oh, the word “friends” includes those people out there that I’ve never met in the flesh but have come to know over the Internet. I also give thanks for my health and my job. And farther down on the list are all of the wonderful things I’ve been able to do and see and then there are the things I have. I know I am blessed in all of the categories above, though I rarely think about how lucky I am. Instead I tend to take it all for granted.

I also tend to take Time for granted. For the next few days I’m going to revel in my free time. I’m not going to put up a post on Thursday and may not read the posts others have put up. If I seem to drop out for a few days, don’t worry, I’ll soon return.
