There’s a kitten in my lap
A gentle bubble of purrs
Face lifts towards mine
Graceful head
Looks for a rub
Chin Stretched
For a scratch
Daddy,
she seems to say,
When is the puppy
Going to be gone?
Last night I was woken out a deep sleep. Josie needed to be held and cuddled. She occasionally lifter her head to glance at the intruder. Now she’s curled in my lap, acting like there is no intruder – Idina can’t get to my office. At least not yet, but soon she will.
No Josie, no Albert, Idina is here for the long haul ; )
So sweet :)

They’re both cute but Josie is still not having anything to do with Idina!

Josie is re-doing all the imprinting – and I mean you on her. [grin]

Yes, and am often reminded with how much I let the critters get away with because of my sometimes-too-soft-heart ;)

And surely you wouldn’t have it any other way, Trent !

Very sweet. They will adjust and soon be best friends!

It’s funny, Josie is usually the less dog friendly of the two yet she seems to be warming up quicker than Albert. Of course Idina barks at poor Albert ;)

Who knows what goes on in their little world?! I have three cats and they play all kinds of mind games. :)

Ah, cats are experts at mind games. On the other hand, the new puppy, Idina, is a female and so is Josie – maybe Josie has decided she was tired of being a minority and now has someone else in her corner. Who knows what she’s thinking?
