I haven’t put up a new 1000 Voices Speak for Compassion Post in a while. For all of you who want to participate, it is coming very soon! In fact, it is this Friday, February 20, 2015. Just a day or two depending on where you are in the world.
If you haven’t seen this video yet, please watch:
There is so much negativity in this world it is time for people from all over the world, from different races and religions to stand up and put out a positive message for compassion. If you haven’t heard yet, on February 20, 2015 we want to get at least 1000 people to blog and Tweet about compassion. There is now a Word Press Blog for this event. Please take a look! You can join at the Facebook page.
My personal vision for the event is captured in this paragraph:
Empathy is the glue that holds society together and compassion is what makes a group of people a civilization. Without holding our hands out to our fellow humans we become savages. We are all in this together, in a closed system, so we must all help each other. How lonely life must be for those selfish people who don’t realize this simple truth! How lonely for anyone who doesn’t realize that all are our brothers and sisters! How lonely must the self-righteous be!
Remember to use the #1000Speak hashtag! Hopefully we’ll be the top hashtag and beat out all of the celebrity babble for the day!
See you there on Friday!
Thank you, Trent ;-)
