I am done, finished, complete. No, not growing. One way to look at that I was complete decades ago, another way to look at it I will not be finished until I am in my grave. No, nothing as physical or metaphysical as that. Well. Hmm, did any of that make sense? No matter, I am smiling because I am done. I have finished Christmas shopping and i have finished wrapping presents. No more. It’s over.
Uhm, well, except for….
Darn, I guess not, but I’ll still smile : )

I often find that Christmas comes and goes and I’m still not done! So far no one has noticed.😉

I can understand that. Once, just after the new year, I found a box full of gifts I forgot to wrap. Ooops, I guess they’re now Valentine’s gifts ;) Besides the not being done, I understand the not noticing.

Lol! I’ve forgotten to serve food I bought for Christmas dinner but so far I’ve remembered to give out all the gifts! It least I think I did?? Hmmm?🙄

Oh, I’m jealous. I’m still up to the shopping bit. Being unable to drive and dependent on others to get places has made progress slow. But I’m planning to take the boys into town on the bus today and finish those last minute purchases. :) (Oh, and then I’d better get onto baking the cake that will form part of the dessert for Christmas Day. I think I need a timetable….)

Sorry, missed this one, and it’s a bit late – I hope you did catch up! I’m sure it was tough being totally dependent on others. How are the ribs? I hope a lot better!

I did! Instead of the bus into town, we walked to the local shopping strip and got some lovely gifts from a beautiful hat and knick-knacks shop. Felt good to do something active and I survived the walk there and back (although the boys had to keep stopping and waiting for me to catch up – usually I’m the one out front). And dessert for Christmas Day got made and enjoyed. :)
Oh, and I slept in my own bed last night! Making good progress. :)

Great! I’m sure being a little more active and sleeping in your own bed (!) helps quite a bit.

Every time I think I’m done I think of one more thing! I’m done. Except I haven’t wrapped. And I haven’t done stockings yet. I’m visiting my son so everything that isn’t done will have to wait till I get home.

I just got of the phone finishing my father’s present. I hope I really am done ;) When do you return home? Oh wait, I had just opened your post and I see “Tomorrow’s drive home”, so that answers that. So plenty of time!
