Rough Draft of #WeeklySmile graphic
As many of you know tomorrow will start my Weekly Smile! This is a share, blog hop, event or whatever you want to call it. What I mean is that I’d like to have all of you to participate.
There is so much negativity in the world. This little weekly event is just to act as a tiny counterbalance. Simply write about what made you smile over the last week be it a word from a friend, a news story, a smile from a child, a wag from a dog, a beautiful picture, anything. Just keep it positive and not hateful!
At the top is a draft of the logo I will most likely use for the event. It will be in color. Yes, the one that left a bit too much to the imagination will not be used. Some really liked it, but if anybody saw something not appropriate, then I had to drop it.
Tonight I will post the rules. Well, “They’re more like guidelines than actual rules”… They will be very easy to follow.
And then tomorrow will be the actual event. If you want to participate you do not have to post tomorrow, I have dropped the word “Wednesday” from the title so post any time.
I searched Twitter and found that #weeklysmile had been used only a handful of times back in 2012 and 2013. It hasn’t been used since. So it’s ours!
I’m smiling thinking of all of the posts, even if it is just one, that will be added :)
