The problem with books is that you read them. Well, I do at any rate. I guess the real problem is that when I read a book, I do nothing else. So, the last two rainy days I pretty much ate, took care of dogs and read. Read a paper book (not my Kindle). Yeah, I’m a slow reader to take two days to finish a book, but still….
Actually, being sent to another Universe always makes me smile. Well, if I’m sent there with a good book, I should say, though some good movies can do it too ;)
What made you smile this week?
If you haven’t seen it, here is a little background to The Weekly Smile as well as some quick guidelines.
So, what made you smile this week? Write about it and post on the link-up (or click the little blue frog below). While you’re there, read what everyone else is smiling about! And come back to it later, if last week is any indication new smiles will be added daily!

Note – the weekly smile runs Wednesday Morning to Wednesday morning. I post in the morning (Eastern US) and put up the link usually between 7 and 8 AM EST. I also try to post on Sunday as a reminder. People can and do join throughout the week.

My reading time has diminished and I’m craving it. I’m jealous your rain space. :-) But it makes me smile to thinking of it and knowing it will come again for me too.

My reading time has been so limited and I’ve been using it for blogging. It was great to have that block of time where I could blow off everything I needed to do, I mean, where I had nothing to do so I could read. .

It rained here… so between blogging, I too managed some quality reading time :)

Sometimes reading is the only thing you CAN do when it rains ;) Of course, my “to-do” list didn’t get any shorter as I sat and read all weekend, but the “to-do” list will still be there when I’m ready.

I enjoyed my ‘holiday’…and still worked a lot. The to-do list is well under way this morning ;)

I’ve read this weekend as well. I’m still behind on my Goodreads challenge, trying to catch up. If I can’t explore outside due to rain and fog, at least I can explore other worlds/people/cultures, etc., with books. :-)

There is little better to do than read when it is wet and foggy outside. I hope you’re getting closer to your goal.
