Over the last 43 weeks I’ve had a lot of smiles about a lot of things. In fact, I’d say doubly so since I have been putting out a reminder smile on Sundays. Smiles have included family and friends, travel and relaxing at home (sometimes the vacation home), pets and animals and all sorts of things and situations. In some ways today’s smile is different.

This post, when I put it up, will be my 1000th post on Word Press!

Yep, this came up when I posted!

1000! What a long, strange trip it has been. I am going to do a recap of these 1000 posts in a little over a week when the blog hits its third birthday. For now let’s just say that I’ve talk about a lot of things, have written a lot short stories (hundreds), a full length novel (The Hally Branch), hundreds of poems, hundreds (thousands?) of photos, and all sorts of other madness.

As a society we like large, round numbers. 1000 is a great number! So this wee my smile is about posting my 1000th post.
