“What!?” The Lady yelled.

“That’s right my Lady, you can’t carry a blade that is longer than four and a half inches,” the Minister answered.

“Just because the previous ruler’s ‘blade’ was shorter than, oh, never mind.  I have an important mission to accomplish.”

“I’m sorry, but that is the law.”

“OK, so no swords.  How can I set the challenge without a sword?”

“That is completely up to you.”

“I have an idea, but I don’t like it.  No swords?”

“No.”

“Whoever shall sitteth on this chair without sinking is the rightful ruler,” The Lady of the Lake said.

Thanks. The Lady of the Lake may already be able to determine the winner… Mixing the Arthurian legend, Arthur pulled a sword from a stone to prove he was the rightful king, but he also received a sword from the lady of the Lake – the hand coming out of the water – to prove he was king. So, if there can be no sword, what will she do to ensure everyone knows he’s the rightful king?
