Wild tempest does rage
Hail, sleet and rain envelops all
Darkness smothers soul
Take shelter in my haven
Shield of warm against the storm

Great work. And love that you have an image that suits it so beautifully. Or is it the other way around? Either way, love.

Thanks. As the poem was taking shape, I thought of this image and knew it was the one I was going to use. A spring storm was blowing in and I took the photo with my phone out of my kitchen window.

Thanks. It was one nasty looking storm coming in when I took that photo.

I wasn’t sure if the photo was yours. Amazing one, Trent.

I try to mark any images that aren’t mine, so 98% of the time, if there is no attribution, the drawing or photo or whatever is mine. (2% in case I’ve made a mistake here or there ;) ) Thanks!
