It’s time for the test
Outcome inevitable?
I protest the fates
We charge into the future
Free will against predestined

This was written for Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge. The key words today were “Destiny” and “Challenge”. Following her suggestion, I didn’t use the words, I used only synonyms.

OK, I know I over did it ;) I tried to put some variation of the key words in every line. The photo has nothing to do with the poem. or does it? ;)

Thanks. I think connections can be made, and half of the fun is trying to find them.

I like where you went with your words, Trent. I like the philosophical idea of destiny and if we use our free will or if our fate is predetermined? The age-old question we might never solve… :D

Thanks. Yes, that old question. In reality, I am a firm believer in free will, but there does seem to be a ring of truth in “destiny”.
