I was out the other day and came face to face with some aliens. Really! They were walking around the village of Dennis as if they owned the place. An invasion fleet, I’m sure. Yep, I came face to face with them, and they didn’t flinch.
And talking faces, they had blue faces. Blue! Can you imagine? I mean, yes, we see blue faces in Sci-Fi, like some of the characters in the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie. But how often do you come across real blue guys here on Earth?
And i think this guy had a trunk or something. I mean, what is that thing? Maybe a huge nose? Here is another picture, hopefully better than the first.
What do you think? An alien?
Oh, the entire body? Sure, I got some shots of that too. Excuse his friends butt taking up half of the photo (did I tell you that these guys have big butts?) Here is the photo of the entire blue-faced alien. I have some shots of the females, but they’re not as odd.
Strange, isn’t it? A real alien walkign through the village as bold as day…
The look like the Beatles’ Blue Meanies….

They do look a bit like aliens. Are turkeys friendly, or are they nasty like geese? As a kid, a swoose (half swan, half goose) chased me right up onto a picnic table and I couldn’t get down because I was terrified the darn thing would nip my butt with that sharp beak.

Don’t they look strange? Overall they are pretty birds, because they are so colorful, but their faces are just so odd.
I haven’t had any problems with wild geese or turkey. These turkey seemed pretty brave, but when I’ve come across them in the woods, they are very shy. I wouldn’t want to get too close to them. I was about 20 feet away when I took the photos. I’ve had swans hiss at me when I’ve gotten too close kayaking. I’ve heard that the mute swan can be pretty aggressive.

Wow, those aliens are oddly beautiful, in a very ugly way!

These “aliens” are very pretty birds, with shiny, iridescent feathers, you just can’t spend too much time looking at their faces!

That is a face only a mother could love 😆

Turkeys are pretty birds, with their iridescent feathers, but they have the strangest faces! I usually don’t think of it until I zoom in.
