Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a nice mug of super strong Sumatra Roast, a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is warm today, not hot, but very humid. perhaps just water will do. And were are we? Some of you may recognize those Beatles mugs as being on Cape Cod.
So I got up this morning and took a very long walk on Chapin Beach. Sound familiar? yes, I do that every day I am here and am not working. Well, unless it is pouring rain or snowing too hard. OK, a few times I have decided to do a very long paddle at dawn. But I do go to Chapin all of the time. It was low tide, so I did a very long walk on the “flats”. I also went running today, had the dogs out back playing a couple of times and walked them a few times. I’ve taken a few small breathers at the computer, and am doing another one to put up this post.
It was a busy week! Work was super busy and not all “good busy”. There were far too many, “Oh no, what now?” moments. But there were other routine things that just seemed to pile up and happen at a faster rate. Oh well, such is life.
In my non-work life the big news is releasing The Halley Branch! You can check out the “official launch” post here which has links to the page on Amazon in several different countries. You can also, of course, search “The Halley Branch” in Amazon. Here is the US paperback page and here the US Kindle page.
Someone asked my about Barnes and Nobles this week. I went to the site and searched and found The Fireborn and Seasons of Imagination. I think The Halley Branch is too new. This might not seem like much, but until recently if you used KDP to publish your book it was only available on Amazon. Now they should be available at any on-line store!
I also did a guest post on Sue Vincent’s blog.
Beyond that, I started editing short stories for my next book. I’ll do about three or four drafts before I am happy and then send them out to a few betas and to someone to proof them. Writing, fortunately, is the easy part…
Well, I’ve been inside too long! I need to go out again.
Thanks for stopping by for the visit! It was nice “seeing” you. If you have a coffee share I will try to stop by your place for a chat. Later, after I come in again ;) Have a great week!
The original Coffee Share kind of died out, but it has been revived! Eclectic Alli is hosting a coffee share. This week’s share is here. and the link up is here. Come on and join in! Hopefully we can bring it back to its former glory!
It’s been a while since I popped in for a peek – life gets in the way sometimes – but I see you are as wonderful as ever. :o)

Thanks! That beach is very pretty. It’s hard to do all of that open sand justice with a phone photo like this.
