Curse
I freeze
Bedeviled
You fill my mind
Pervade my thinking
Your essence follows me
At home and at my hangouts
A season full of bewitchment
Your magic worked with a single word
Leaving me flabbergasted and adrift
Some say I am under your enchantment
That I am entrapped in to your quicksand
My soul is conjured to your whim
You affect my every thought
You ensnare my very mind
I feel it is more
The meaning clear
Not magic
Simple

So I went a different direction than you thought ;)
Written for Colleen’s Poetry challenge. Each week she gives us two keywords, only we must use synonyms only, not the words themselves. The words this week are “Haunt” and “Spell“. This week I decided to do a Double Etheree. I tried to use these words multiple times, with different meanings.

Well done! I thought the word “spell” would conjure lots of romantic poetry. Great double Etheree. <3

Yes, spell and being haunted by someone often do go towards the romantic, but this time of year everyone is thinking more about magic and spirits. Thanks!
