Today is the day! My book of short stories, Embers, is now officially released!
If you live somewhere else, you can try searching on your local Amazon.

Meeting at that corner of time where day and night become one, where dreams and reality mix, let’s stir the coals of that fire called ‘imagination’ to discover an eclectic mix of short stories. Each story is a bit of frozen flame, an ember, that can flare up in your mind.
These embers form a collection of “tales that cover a wide range of genres, moods, and characters, from heartbreaking and heartwarming trials of love and family to thought-provoking journeys into the future. Most importantly, the stories are peopled with richly-drawn characters gifted with unique voices, emotional depth, and the power to capture the imagination. They’re stories that will stick.” – Author D. Wallace Peach
So whether you only have time to warm yourself with a very short work of flash, or you want to get cozy and lost in a novella, there is a story, an ember, in here for you.

Hey, is it on Kindle Unlimited?

I somehow missed it, but I just added it. Not sure how long it takes to show up. I will have to check my other books now! I know The Fireborn is, but not sure about The Halley Branch.

I figured I’d ask since I have a temporary subscription! 🙃 None of mine are on there, because I refuse to publish exclusively through Amazon. I wish they didn’t have that requirement.

Yeah, I get it. Right now I am doing exclusively through Amazon but eventually may expand out. About 10 people read The Fireborn through Kindle Unlimited, so little more than pocket change, but hopefully at least one liked it enough to want more of my fiction.

Well in the early stages (by progress/popularity, not years of experience) exposure is the most important thing. Those are 10 people who will now recognise your name the next time they see it.

That is my thought exactly. I am just starting out, so the more people who have read my works, the better.

Congratulations Trent. I’m very fond of embers, mainly sitting in front of them getting warm. I’ll tell my person to buy your book 🐾

Thanks! I am in the process of getting a new den with a fireplace so our puppies can curl up by the embers on cold winter nights… I hope your person enjoys the book!

Thanks – as soon as I knew I was going to put some short stories in a collection, I had the story “Embers” in there and figured it would be the perfect name for the book.

:) When I pick the countries, I did those from where people have ordered before. Except it didn’t let me chose AU for paperback this time. Odd… (A friend from my hometown lives in Switzerland and she ordered something through the France site as well).
