Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a nice hot mug of a very strong French Roast/Sumatra Roast blend! Or how about a cuppa tea or hot cocoa? It is cold and the wind is awful. Not as bad as last night – I thought the house was going to come down! And where are we this weekend? Some my recognize this picture (though relatively new) as being in New Hampshire.
A big part of this week was about (warning, adult content) paying bills and doing banking and finance stuff. Cleaning up around the house (old one in NH). Taking responsibility and those types of things. (Adult content for mature audiences over ;) )
The weather has been very strange, as it has everywhere. Most of the week was far above normal, but we had an ice storm. And today is cold, if sunny, and won’t get above freezing. I mean, it is winter in NH, despite the fact that the ground is bare! I often have several feet on the ground this time of year (over a meter).
Work was busy, strangely enough, in ways busier than last week when I just returned. Of course part of that is that we started digging deeper. Another part is things caught up and start to, uhm, hit the fan. So busy.
I actually did a lot of writing and editing. Some of you may have noticed that I started a new serial story. I also finished the fourth draft of my novellas – there were many changes in this draft with rewrites of a couple of chapters.
I also had massage, which is always needed…
That’s about it for the week. I have a lot to do. Stuff for the new house, we are out of cat food, dog food and parrot food. And kitty liter. I should be going.
Thanks for stopping by for a coffee and a chat! If you have a coffee chat I will try to stop by, but I can’t guarantee it.
The original Coffee Share kind of died out, but it has been revived! Eclectic Alli is hosting a coffee share. This week’s share is here. and the link up is here.
I missed last Saturday’s coffee meet up :-( but reading what others have experienced makes me feel better. This “adult” content take-over makes me mad. To start with why is it called like that? Adults sick in the head, yes, but not healthy normal people. My blogs were visited by some guy telling how to earn big money with my porn blogs… porn blogs ? my blogs ???? It’s really pathetic how some people behave. For some reason all comments on my Friday Frictioneers texts have been erased… Anyway I’ll be at the coffee meet up next Saturday with better news hopefully.

It is sick that such a large part of revenue created on the Internet is from porn! That is one reason why I had “true” adult content – to me what makes an adult an adult – taking responsibility, paying bills, doing chores ;) Yeah, I have an odd sense of humor. Kind of odd about the comments on your Friday Fictioneer. I’ve been busy lately and haven’t visited, so I need to see how your continuing story is going. I hope you have a better week and see you next Saturday :)

Hot chocolate, please. We got an ice storm here last night. Roads are glazed over. Yuck. Glad you had such a productive writing week! Adulting is super fun, right? All the necessary evils of adulthood. Stay warm and have a great week!

Luckily our ice storm wasn’t that bad. On the other hand, I was tele-working, so I didn’t have to drive in it ;) I hope it thaws out for out soon and that you have a wonderful week ahead!

I’ll just stick the hot coffee outside for 5 minutes and it should be iced ;) Yeah, we need to meet someplace in the middle where it is neither too hot nor too cold! I hope you are having a good weekend.

great idea or just have a visiting schedule of when the weather would be perfect not too cold not too hot but just right like the baby bear’s porridge in Goldie Locks ha!

I find massage is so necessary at this age, especially with the amount of time I sit at the computer. Have a great week, Trent!

Yeah, me too. I have been having massage every other week for around 15 years and couldn’t live without it – I get so tight!

Sounds like you’re going to be one busy guy for a few months. All good stuff though it seems. Do stay in touch.

Yeah, at least 4 more years (unless something good happens, like a lottery win ;) ) but possibly as many as 7 and I’ll be like that… I’m sure I’ll be very fine with it ;) Have a great weekend!

It rained or snowed or did nasty things most of the week, but very sunny, if bitter cold this weekend here.

It wasn’t a bad ice storm and it half rained all day, so I never got a chance for photos. It’s always cool to step out and the world looks like diamonds.

Luckily ours wasn’t bad this time. A little ice covering cars and trees and such, but not awful.

Yeah, I know, adulting is never fun. I tried to join Peter P., but it didn’t work out…

Tomorrow I’m planning on getting into some extra super adult activity… warning… spoiler… TAXES… ack! I may need several cups of coffee for that. 😂

I’m sure you’ll need quite a few cups of coffee! And when you say “for Mature Audiences”, I can’t think of an activity that demands more maturity! I usually like to tantrum ;) Have a great weekend.

We hit the minus 50’s with wind chill this week which means cancelled buses and so many vehicles that wouldn’t start (not ideal when it is a police car). Work was a bit slow this week perhaps a result of the weather, but who knows.
Did you say parrot food? You have a pet parrot? Have you shared a picture of this beautiful creature?
Have a great weekend.

We had the extreme cold (polar vortex) the week before, the last couple of days of January into the first couple of days of February, but then it really warmed up for a couple of days – I was on Cape Cod, but I don’t think it got above 0 for two days in a row here in new hampshire.
Yeah, I can never get good photos of Figaro. Some day I’ll try to get something a bit better and post it.
Hope you have a great weekend :)
