If We Were Having Coffee on the 16th of March, 2019

Hello and Welcome!  Come on in and I’ll get you a nice mug of strong French/Sumatra Roast blend, a cuppa tea or other beverage.  It is a beautiful day out there, sunny and relatively warm.  Not nice enough to sit outside.  Well, maybe…  And where are we?  You may recognize that photo at the top as being on Cape Cod.

It was a busy week at work with a few small projects and a couple of emergency troubleshooting sessions.  Not terrible, but the weekend feels nice.

The weather is warming up and feels like spring.  There was still snow on the ground when I left New Hampshire (we had a snow storm last Sunday), but it was warmer there than here – being surrounded by water has its pluses (warmer winters, cooler summers, long, warm autumns), but has its minuses (more rain, cooler spring).  Still, it is a beautiful day!  I already took a long walk on the beach, played with dogs outside and worked on the new house for a couple of hours.  After I finish this, I will head out again.

And that is pretty much my week – work, and moving from deep winter into spring almost over night.  Also work on the new house. I’m going to head out and take advantage of this nice spring day!

I hope you had a great week! Thanks for joining me for coffee.  If you host a coffee share, I’ll try to stop by and have a visit.

The original Coffee Share kind of died out, but it has been revived!  Eclectic Alli is hosting a coffee share.  This week’s share is here. and the link up is here.

Slowly – when I got back to New Hampshire it felt like winter! But will will reach the 40s ever day (though teens at night) this week. By the end of the week 50s and lows in the upper 20s! Spring…

Hope you have good week as well.

Spring almost always shows up here the last of week of March or even early April, but every year people complain that this was the longest winter ever ;) Yes, I’m getting ready to do outside work that doesn’t include a snow shovel or ice chipper!

I feel like this winter has tested our patience more than usual. If it was cold and snowy every time it was cold, OK. But snow, then cold, then snow, then cold. I want to go out with my camera, but every weekend has had wind chills that make it difficult to hold the camera. It seems to be changing, ever so slowly. I’m waiting… …. …. …. .

It’s most hitting the 40s, with a couple of shots into the 50s (today didn’t get out of the 30s). So spring is trying, but not here 100% yet.. Hope you see spring soon as well.

I am back in New Hampshire today, and it feels like winter again.. Oh well, it will be warmer later in the week – it is that transition and I can feel it tipping towards spring.

It is. There will be some nights that get far below freezing in the next week, but this is what early spring looks like in New Hampshire. I hope Spring reaches you soon!

Sounds nice. I can’t wait until I see short sleeve weather around here (It hit mod-50s today, but was in the 40s when I walked on the beach). I had a bit more outside time this afternoon and more working on house time as well – have to keep balance ;)

      Have a great week!
