Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a nice large mug of very strong French/Sumatra Roast blend, a cuppa tea or other drink. It is a nice day and will get quite warm (for early spring) later. Were are we? Some may recognize that photo as being in New Hampshire.
Well, it is finally spring here. I have seen several types of flowers, I saw a snake, bugs, osprey, etc. Spring! We’ve had a few cold days, but, hey, this is New Hampshire! We do not have warm early springs. Typically the heat stays on until late May when suddenly the leaves come out and late spring arrives. I’ll take these 62 F/ 17 C days for now.
Busy week at work. What’s new? I had a couple of after hours calls – never fun – but nothing major and easily fixed.
I have just started writing a new story. I’m not sure if it will be another novella (I’ve written a few this year) or will be my next book. I will have to put it on pause next week when I get back to my next book. I should get an edited version back on Monday and then I need to go through myself and see if I agree with said edits… And then I need to go through to see if anyone missed anything anywhere.
I stumbled (not literally) over a stack of old CDs that I never ripped onto my iTunes. Over the last few days I’ve ripped about a dozen. I plan on doing another dozen or two and then holding off. It is fun finding “old friends’ that I haven’t listened to over the last decade! I am also finding huge holes in my collection and am not sure if I need to fill them or not. Of course I still have about another 100 CDs that I haven’t touched or listened to in over a decade (not including the 2 dozen sitting at my computer waiting to be ripped). Do I really want to have Nirvana on my iTunes? I’m not sure. About 50 are late 20th century/early 21st century “classical”, like a handful of Tsontakis CDs. Do I need them since I am no longer composing 21st century classical music? Maybe… yes, I have over 25,000 “songs” on my iPod, were a “song” can be a well over an hour long piece of classical music. I hate Apple for getting rid of the iPod classic – I fill my 160 GB iPod and it has been at least 5 years since there has been a viable replacement. I would go broke paying for streaming from the cloud on all of my devices if I did 140 GB of music that listen to all of the time!
Wow, I have filled up this post and said nothing! And it is getting warmer outside and I need to get out of the house! Quick thanks to Dottie for bi-weekly massage (I’d be a stiff, sore mess without it) and I have to check out.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the rushed cup of coffee and continue to enjoy your weekend. If you have a coffee share, I’ll try to stop by – I often have problems hitting everything if people post after Sunday evening.
