Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a large mug of a very strong dark roast coffee. a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is spitting rain off and on and a little cool, but not cold, so I’m sure you are ready to come in. I have to tell you, though, that I already took a long walk on the beach, a bit of rain or no, this morning. And where are we today? If you don’t recognize those mugs at the top and didn’t get the beach hint, we are on Cape Cod.
I came down here Wednesday evening, as I usually do. Thursday was gorgeous, though I worked most of the day. Yesterday wasn’t quite so nice, so not so bad that I worked all day. Today is supposed to be nicer and warmer.
Actually, it has been a nice week. We have actually seen a few sunny days! There have been a lot of flowers and birds and other things. In other words, it was as nice as Spring can be.
If you haven’t seen, I have put a release date up for my two novellas. The Kindle version is also up for pre-sale.
I plan on getting out more today and hopefully doing some work on the new house.
Oh, if you didn’t see my smile on Monday, I got a hair cut last weekend.
Thanks for stopping by! It was nice chatting. i need to go out and enjoy the day. If you have a coffee share, I’ll try to stop by your place for a chat. Have a great weekend.
The original Coffee Share kind of died out, but it has been revived! Eclectic Alli is hosting a coffee share. This week’s share is here. and the link up is here.
Congrats on the release dates for your novellas!

Hi T – I was scrolling blogs and found I was needing some java time with Trent.
Glad the book is good to go – I will try and order this one – I mean – I shared your cover on a two for Tuesday post so need to follow up and explore it now / also – as a non-fiction reader I think novellas are manageable – hope so ;)

The stories are pretty light and fast paced, so hopefully a nonfiction reader can get through them pretty quick ;) If you do order, I hope you enjoy :)
Thanks for stopping by for coffee. Always nice having you by.

So brave of you putting your writing out there Trent.

Thanks, Colline. It does make me feel a little vulnerable, but I do put it out on the blog anyway – I think more people read my blog in a typical week than have read all of my books ever, so….

The beach in the rain was a little cooler than Death Valley in the sun ;) Thanks. :)

Congrats Trent.
Since you didn’t mention it, I hope you’re fully recovered and back to normal.

Thanks, Gary. I am still taking antibiotics and will for a little over a week, but otherwise recovered.

Congratulations on your novellas :) I like the cover. And I see that Sue wrote the foreword. Cool.

Thanks! The first draft of both of the novellas were written using Sue’s prompts, so I had to ask her to do the foreword :)

You’re welcome, Trent. And that’s the great things about these prompts. You can use them to write anything.

I talk about Sue’s prompts in the introduction to the book and I pretty much say just that – some people write poetry, some stories and one does visual art. Some use the keyword as a prompt, some the photo some both and some just riff off of the idea of the prompts. It’s very open and people can do what they want, including writing long. multi-chapter novellas :)
