Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a nice strong French Roast, a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is a beautiful day and since it has been non-stop pouring rain for the last two days, let’s go outside and have our coffee in the backyard. You can make out the water pretty close in – yeah, looking across the bay, my back yard is the only place that has a forest! Maybe some day I’ll create a view. Or we can walk down to one of the landings. If you haven’t guessed, we are on Cape Cod today.
It was a pretty busy week. A doctor’s appointment. Work. Exercise, driving down here. etc. But a nice week. Not a lot to report.
We are still having much more rain than lately. It is wet out there… Just an odd year. But, as I said, today is beautiful!
Last week I talked about a new synthesizer. I spent a bit of last weekend recording. I posted this elsewhere, but I like it, so… (You can read a description here):
(Click here if you don’t see the video)
Even though this video is longish, I have had more views in a the week since I have posted it than any other of my videos have gotten in a week, and it now has the 6th most amount of views of any of my 35 videos.
Anyway, I am going to go out and hit the beach for a long walk (I already walked down to one of the landings at 6 AM with the dogs). I have a million other things to do. You can come with me for the walk, but it will be away from the computer…
Thanks for stopping by! If you have a coffee share I will try to join you. I hope you have a great weekend!
The original Coffee Share kind of died out, but it has been revived! Eclectic Alli is hosting a coffee share. This week’s share is here. and the link up is here.
We’ve been shooting a bit in the rain, too, but I worry about my camera and Garry worries about his hearing aids. Sort of keeps us out of the rain with our electronic devices!

It is very green here, but then, we have been getting enough rain it ought to be green! I am working today, but it is gorgeous here – perfect weather! I hope you had a good weekend and a wonderful week ahead.

Doesn’t hurt to have a beautiful day, even if you’re working 😊 🙏

If you see the photo I posted on Instagram today, that is taken (with my phone) out of my office window (on Cape Cod) that is literally right next to my head. I removed the screen, but, yes, awesome :)

I’m on the second floor and looking into the branches of a tree just outside of the window…

I’m not sure what’s worse: constant rain or rain while it’s bright and sunny outside. That’s what happened to me yesterday when I tried to go for a walk. It was bright and while there were clouds, they didn’t look like rain clouds. Then it started to rain while the sun was out! Weird! Enjoy the nice weather!

Everything should slow down for summer don’t you think? It should be a new law that for even July and August work days are have and the speed of life is slow so we can all enjoy and catch up.
Weather has been strange here as well.
Have a great week, thanks for coffee.

Everything, and everybody, does need to slow down. As I was driving this morning I was wondering why people in this little corner of paradise called Cape Cod have to be so aggressive in the summer. In the off season this place is mellow, but a nice summer day and people become maniacs – “Get out of my way so I can speed off and have fun, damn it!”. Oh well, I’ll relax even if they don’t ;)

We have been having crazy heavy rain around here too and even a tornado warning which is rare for this area! Hope it all calms down into a nice warm dry summer. Enjoy your week!

Thunderstorms rolled through yesterday afternoon and evening and we saw hail. They were the size of marbles, so not terrible, but still…. Here’s looking to some dry weather! Hope your weekend is goign well.

Enjoy your walk and leave the forest! What a beautiful thing to have!

Forest is a major exaggeration ;) At the very least I will leave some trees but I may concentrate on the underbrush more than the trees – I have to walk into the neigbor’s yard to get to water because the underbrush is so dense. I do have a great forest, and closer to a real forest, in my back yard in New Hampshire – the dogs love playing in it! It is almost vertical, but still special.

Haha ok now I understand!

Yeah, I have a little 20 foot wide, 100 foot long strip towards the water the is really dense while everyone around me has lawns going to the swamp behind us.

Hi Trent, I enjoyed a nice hot cup of coffee with you this morning and I enjoyed your video too. Creativity is so FUN and good for the soul. I loved being outside (wish I could really visit Cape Cod) but I can see it in my mind with your descriptions. Love rain, hope it let’s up a bit for you. It’s been unseasonally cool here, no complaints from me! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! ~Diana

Thanks for joining me. I would go crazy without some sort of creative outlet, be it music, drawing, photography or writing, though doing all is best ;) It is a nice area. We had thunderstorms rolling through yesterday afternoon, but was still able to get out between storms, unlike Thursday and Friday’s all day wash outs. Hope your weekend is going well and that you have a good week ahead.
