Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a nice large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea, hot cocoa or other warm beverage. Watch the ice! Enough snow for you? Here you go. Oh, where are we? Some of you may know by the photo at the top that we are in snow New Hampshire.
I didn’t have a coffee share last weekend because I was traveling back from Northern Maine. I did a post about Maine if you want to know more. It was visiting in-laws. We had six inches or so of snow on Thanksgiving morning, so I shoveled around the cars and such before the plow truck came. It is beautiful up there, and the snow made it even prettier!
And the dogs had a great time :)
But then, it strayed snowing down here, in New Hampshire, on Sunday. We got a good 14 inches (35 cm) over night. It snowed off and on all day and then there was a second storm Monday into Tuesday with another foot over night, and snow off and on until evening. In total, we had at least 28″ (71 cm), possibly more – the next town up the road (and up the mountain) had over 33″!
Here is my patio on Tuesday morning, with a couple more inches to come.
Yes, to the right is table and chair.
So I did a lot of shoveling this week. A. Lot. Of. Shoveling! And then, as you noticed on the way in, it snowed another inch last night! It will be frigid over the weekend, but then it will be quite warm and wet on Wednesday and Thursday. I’m not looking forward to the mess!
Anyway, enough about snow :) Besides that, I had massage this week, I walked and played with dogs I did NOT run ;) Nor do weight mercerize, beyond tons of snow…. I read, played music (instruments), posted a video, etc.
Well, the dogs are bothering me – they sat at the door and whined when I shoveled this AM, but I needed to sit down afterwards. Well, they let me sit for a few minutes to write this ;) I am on my way out.
Thanks for stopping by to visit! If you have a coffee share, I’ll try to stop by!
You can go visit other coffee shares here :)
Looks beautiful …no wonder doggies enjoy it!!!! :-)
Have a lovely week ahead!

Thanks, Colline! The photo is actually from last winter’s last snow. I think I used it once, maybe twice, but I needed it this week!

Enjoy the snow while you have it :) Some of our snow disappeared this week, but we are expecting more, and colder weather. I like it! Thank you for the coffee, and enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

My guess is a lot will go away when it is 60 and raining on Tuesday… but it won’t all go away! I hope you are having a great weekend and have a wonderful week ahead :)

It is very pretty! Shoveling? Well, since I don’t get to play in it as I did as a kid, I guess it will have to do ;)

I think if I lied down on my back in 28″ of snow to do a snow angel, I would drown ;)

Actually, today it is like Styrofoam and you can’t make snow angles…

What could be a better way to enjoy snow than through the eyes of a dog? Have a great week but take care about all that snow shoveling Trent.

It’s funny – the dogs love snow, but they have been avoiding the deep, heavy, wet snow we received this week and have mostly been playing where I’ve shoveled. Maybe our next big storm will be powder ;) Thanks, Gary.

Awesome snow amounts. Best wishes for your survival and safe snow removal! The photograph of the land across the valley is particularly fascinating. Love it! Have a great week!

The amount of snow in NH was a little much, but the bit in Maine was just enough to make it pretty – there is a very large lake in the photo you mentioned and seeing it across the snowy fields was nice, but didn’t translate well to pictures.

Oh, my goodness!!! I dont’ think I could stand it. I love beautiful pictures of snow, but I DO NOT want to have to walk or drive in it. It’s always pretty coming down and lying on the ground just enough to cover everything and make it look pristine. But after that, I’m done with it. So far, we’ve never had more than about 8 inches at a time here in Southern Illinois.

We typically get at least one 2-foot storm a season, but rarely this early! I hope this is the only one ;) It is pretty, but I don’t have any place to put any more snow if it does come.

I LOVE that coffee mug! Your mugs are the best. It is going to be 80 around here Monday afternoon. I frequently take a change of shirt in to work with me. :) Have a great week, Trent!

Van Gogh in the snow… ;) Thanks. 80? I don’t know if I want it that warm in December, but the low tonight is supposed to be 6, so 80 sounds pretty good. Have a great weekend and a wonderful week ahead!

I know the snow is inconvenient and cold but it looks so wonderful.

That’s a lot of snow, but it is the season! The weather people are calling for a winter storm here but it hasn’t started yet….hoping it will hold off until I drag the boys off for Santa pictures.
Have a great weekend and thanks for the virtual cup.

It is the season, though we rarely see big storms like this in early December… I hope you are able to get out before the bad weather moves in. Have a great weekend :)

I do like the snow, even if I do grumble about shoveling. It is pretty.
