If We Were Having Coffee on the 15th of February, 2020

Hello and Welcome!  Come on in out of the bitter cold!  It is sunny and gorgeous, but frigid.  Not as frigid as back up in NH, not even close!  But it is cold.  I’ll get you a steaming mug of super strong dark roast, a piping hot cuppa tea, or comfortably warm mug of comfort-drink, aka hot cocoa.  And where are we?  I already gave it away, and there is the photo at the top of the page, but if you missed it, we are on Cape Cod.

It was a super busy work week.  I can’t point to much and say , “This! This is what I did!” but it was busy.  I feel i didn’t get a whole lot done, besides my every-other week massage appointment on Wednesday without which I would be as stiff as concrete.

Last week when I was here I took this photo of the full moon.  I kind of like it:

And I had a little wine for Valentine’s Day last night.

I have to go rent a big truck soon – I have to leave the house in 5 minutes, so I need to drop off.

Thanks for stopping by!  If you have a coffee share, I’ll try tomake it by your place later.  Enjoy your weekend!

The coffee share is hosted over on Eclectic Alli.  The link to join is here.

I did like the way the brick set off the bottle. I guess that ancient New England brick has a special character… I don’t know how old the mill that I photographed is, but the fireplace in my house is from 1850.

Thanks! The trick is to use manual exposure and check the pictures until it is right. I sued to use manual focus as well, but this camera is a bit harder. Auto-focus takes a few tries before it locks on correctly (half click, focus, lift finger, half click, etc. The moon was gorgeous that night!

I can imagine! You do work pretty hard on your blog, so I’m sure any time off is great. I got super busy, so I did little more than glance at a few posts since Saturday morning and might not get back into it until some time next week.

Thanks. We used to collect good red wines until we bought the house on Cape Cod and had to go back to beer ;) We are nearing the “bottom” of the wine fridge and will have to decided if it is worth collecting again. My thought is “yes” ;)

Hope your weekend went well :)

Thanks! It was a gorgeous moon. It has warmed up significantly. We were supposed to get several inches of snow up in NH – I’ll have to see when I get there. not looking forward to trying to get in my driveway ;)
