This was written for Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge. Being the third Tuesday, an image was our prompt. The image was provided by Ritu Bhathal. I chose a Senryu, and tried in all three formats – 5/7/5; 3/5/3; 2/3/2.
The hidden moon in a winter sky reminded me of the full moon last week and the recently passed Valentine’s Day. Combining the two with a hint of irony, well, that poems were my answer ;) (I took the below photo a little over a week ago)
