Hello and Welcome! Come on (virtually!) in and I’ll get you nice large mug of ultra-strong dark roast, a cuppa tea, some hot cocoa or other beverage. It is a little cool, but not cold out. It will be a sunny day today, but not even close to as warm as yesterday! Where are we? Some may recognize the photo as coming from New Hampshire.
On the subject of weather, it has been strange. We haven’t had quite the yo-yo that we had earlier this month, but still up and down, and now much wetter. We had snow twice this week! Here is Thursday:
Yes, the first day of spring. And then the next day was warm. But they are talking a large snow storm on Monday! That would be odd to have more snow in late March than January or February, even if it is a heavy snow that doesn’t last.
But there are signs of spring. We have early spring flowers and I heard frogs on my run on Wednesday!
Work has been tough. Enough said ;) But I always telecommute full time, so no changes for me.
Talking social distancing, the other day while walkign the dogs I though of this cartoon. Just a quick doodle…

Dog Walking, 2020
I spent the first half of the week editing The Old Mill. I am going to sit on it for a week or two and then go through again.
I’ve been trying to play music. Here is some music I did on Thursday and Friday. I will do a post about it next week, but this is a sneak preview:
(Click here if you don’t see the video below)
This week has been full of the usual, such as exercising and running, walking the dogs, etc. As to the few weeks that I missed I did write about them in another post if you are curious. Really nothing, I was just busy.
Well, I need to start moving. I have a million things to do today. Thanks for dropping by! If you have a coffee share, I’ll try to stop by.
The coffee share is hosted over on Eclectic Alli. The link to join is here. (I can’t find this week’s link up – I’ll add the link when I do.)
That’s a fun bit of music! Love the photos with it, particularly the sunrise (sunset? I can never tell) at the 30s mark. Glad you’re keeping well, Trent. Lucky we can still go outside and run, eh?

Thanks! In the music I have the transition labeled “Sunrise”, but the photo is actually a sunset. Yes, glad I can still spend time outside walking and running – I’d go completely bonkers if I couldn’t! And most likely would have a heart attack after a month of no cardio exercise ;) I hope you are doing well.

Seems life is relatively normal for you … and all considering, that’s great! :)

I’m an introvert who doesn’t get out enough. I am also a teleworker. So, yeah, a crisis made just for me ;) I hope you are doing well in your semi-blog retirement and are having a great weekend.

Thanks for the great post, Trent. Your posts are lovely and normal which is fabulous as I am a bit exhausted with reading about anxiety and COVID-19 everywhere. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Thanks, Robbie. I’ve done a few virus posts, but I am not a person to dwell on it. And, as I said when we were talking earlier, for me personally there has been very little change. Yes, I am careful and I worry about my parents, etc. , but… Anyway, I hope you are having a great weekend.

I am, I also like being alone and am getting a lot done. My folks are with us and my husband’s family are all together too so we will wait this thing out.

I have heard of families gathering to wait it out together – for older folk it makes sense. I did see one of your posts, I forget if it was Instagram or FaceBook (of both) about some of the stuff you have been doing – it does sound like you are getting a lot done.

Trent, that is a beautiful video, thanks for sharing! That is some weird weather as well. We have had a constant 80 degree plus weather streak for at least a week now in Northern Florida. Not so unusual for us, though! Take care!

Snow in March isn’t unusual, and it was in the high 30s or low forties while it snowed, which is why there is none on the road. And yesterday it hit 70… Thanks about the video, and tanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a good weekend :)

Today is Day11 of quarantine for me. I have not left our house. I am crafting but I spend most of the day back and forth between inside and outside. I am stir crazy and TV is not cutting it. Speaking of Coffee I think I need another cup a cool front popped in for day it’s 58 in Texas but suppose to be 90 all week.

90s. Wow. I am being careful and keeping my distance, but haven’t totally isolated. If I remember correctly, you have weakened immunity, so I’m sure you have to be doubly careful. Kind of tough. all around. At least you should be able to get out and take photos in that warm weather! I hope you have a good week.

My goal was to make it to 14-days without leaving our house. I am not sure I can make it beyond that it gets very hard to handle. I just go stir crazy and swap activities a lot. Hang in there Trent there has to be an end in sight.

Welcome to the new normal :( You too, hang in there and find things to keep yourself occupied.

Thank you for the delicious coffee! I think your white winter photo is gorgeous! It snowed here yesterday morning, big beautiful, light flakes slowly falling to the ground. Next week it’s going to be really warm and spring like. :) Stay safe my friend.

The snow was pretty, if unwanted. There is supposed to be a snow storm next week, but they keep changing the numbers, so I don’t know how bad. Besides that, it will be slightly warmer than normal. I hope you are doing well! Have a great weekend, and you too – stay safe (I have heard zero about Sweden, so assume it isn’t hitting hard there yet).

Thanks for the coffee. Looks pretty with all the white roofs! I couldn’t find this week’s link up either as I wrote my coffee share last night. I don’t think she’s posted one this week. I hope she’s doing good, kinda has me worried. But I’m the worrying type! Love the video too. Take care! 😊🥰

Thanks for stopping by :) The snow was pretty, is unwanted. I’ll have a “discussion” post about the video next week and include the original piece of music I clipped this from. I hope you are having a great weekend!
