The snow may fall
On new spring flowers
A blanket
Of winter gone by
The clouds may build
In great black towers
Terrifying
To the eye
The world may shake
Even the greatest powers
For all
Must one day die
But I look up
With hope that never sours
And see
The big blue sky
For
The snow may fall
On new spring flowers
But life
Life
Will always try

We had 8 inches of snow yesterday. Today, it is almost gone.
Hopeful

Trent, your poem is so beautiful and filled with hope.
Lifting spirits from fear.
Love it.

Thanks, Penny :) When I saw the crocus, I ran back inside to get my phone – I had to get a photo!

That’s a lovely photo, Trent, and a perfect title. We haven’t had snow this week;’ we just have a lot of rain – and mud.

Thanks. We have entered mud season, something that this bit of wet snow hasn’t helped…
