The world is hiding
Far more questions than answers
You are always there

The photo is from Saturday :) Yeah, the full moon usually gets my photographic attention, but sometimes, well, she is always there :)

This was written for Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge – Tanka Tuesday. This week was poet’s choice. I did a tanka.
Mother moon sees all! What a photo! Excellent capture and your Senryu is spot on!

I totally missed that full moon. I did catch a glimpse a couple nights before though when it was almost full. I like the poem.

The photo here was taken a couple of nights before full – unfortunately it was a cloudy here when the moon was full. Thanks.

Wow, it’s tonight, isn’t it? I’ll have to remember to go out and maybe take some photos. i think it is supposed to be the biggest super moon of the year. Yes, nice to know she is there looking down ;)

I hope you had a good view… ours is tonight but mine rises behind a building… duh! Still…

No, it clouded up by the time I’d have a good view :( It will be cloudy tonight as well, so… Oh well, there will be other moons.

It’s comforting that in these uncertain and scary times that somethings are still constant–God’s creation, for example. That’s a beautiful photo of the moon and it goes well with your poem.

Thanks. Those constants can be comforting; our human problems seem small in comparison. The moon was so beautiful this weekend, I just had to take that picture :)
