This is going to be another week of little things. But then, we do need to smile about the little things, don’t we?
In the last week there have been some beautiful views of the Wapack Range while running, seeing a deer while running, seeing all of the birds and “critters” when out and about, Zoom “meetings” with family, talking to friends while out and about, playing with the dogs, a lot of farm fresh veggies, spending huge amounts of time outside, playing the piano, listening to good music and just enjoying being alive :)
That is my smile for this week – all of those little things that make up life.
What made you smile?
****
Come on, I’m sure you smiled at least once last week. Why don’t you share it? I hope you can join in!
Here is list of “rules” and guiding ideas. If you don’t have time to read it right now, just remember that this is an exercise to spread positivity. Don’t smile about the misfortune of others. Don’t smile in a way to excludes others. Make sure a 12 year old can read it.
To join in, write a post to share your smile and then leave a comment on this post with a link to your smile. Or, if you prefer, do a pingback to this post (pingback = have a link from your post to this one) (Note – pingbacks have been very inconsistent – please leave a comment :) ). You can post any time until next Sunday evening (to be simple, I will say midnight GMT, which is 7 PM Sunday for me). Next week I will compile all of the Smiles and do a separate post of them on Monday morning just before the smile. (I will shoot for around 7 AM EST).
The little things are important…

Little things stitched together add up to a pretty good week! Mine was like that too. Cheers to little things!

Sometimes a week full of little things to smile about is better than having one big smile. I hope you have another week full of those little smiles :)

Every morning lately, a group of Red Arrow Swifts entertain us with their swooping and diving. Joy in action, and thrilling to watch. Talk about smiles on faces…xx

Watching birds is always fun and the aerobatics of swifts can be amazing.

Locals all got a surprise and a smile when we walked to the cliff top – two ocean liners moored in the bay – very different from little sailing boats. Apparently there was no room for them at Southampton – just a skeleton crew on board. I believe no ships are cruising anywhere in the world at present.

I’m sure it was quite the surprise. They do need to “park” them someplace when not a lot is moving, and I’m sure most ports are full.
