If We Were Havign Coffee on the 19th of September, 2020

Coffee on Cape Cod

Hello and Welcome! Come on over and sit down. I’ll go grab you a large mug of very strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is a beautiful day, though somewhat breezy and slightly chilly. It is sunny though. And nice, after the heat of the summer. Where are we? Some of you may recognize the photo at the top as being on Cape Cod.

I have been down here since Wednesday night. Yes, I work from here since I telework full time. I did a nice kayak paddle on Thursday after work. I’ve had a few walks and I did a nice run this morning. It is so interesting running on the flat! My run in New Hampshire is super hilly, and yet I run a mile further (over 1.5 km). I do run faster here, so there is that. I could add on that mile at the end, but I think there is a psychological thing when I get to my house.

Oh, here is a sunset from last night:

So, my run went by one beach, but I think I’ll go to another this afternoon for a long walk.

Work was busy, but it seems to have calmed down from this summer. I bet it will pick back up soon…

I have continued to do 25 pushups a day as the challenge. Today is day 10. I do the post on Facebook, even though nobody looks at them. Oh well. I will post day 25 here ;)

That is about it. I know, same boring as usual – walking running, exercise, dog play, work, kayaking, etc. I am predictable, if nothing else.

hanks for stopping by! f you have a coffee share, I will try to stop in and say hi.

Have a great weekend.

The coffee share is hosted over on Eclectic Alli.  The link to join is here.

Beautiful sunset, Trent, and I’m glad you had a good time out on the Cape. Outdoor time, exercises, walking, running, paddling, playing with dogs, nature… all sound good to me and not boring. Thank you for the coffee share.

I know you enjoy outdoor time and exercise, but you seem to hit a different park most weeks instead of the same place over and over :) Thanks for stopping by! I hope your weekend went well :)

I was up in Northport since Wednesday. Left yesterday. Wed and Thursday nights we had no sunset to speak of. I left on Friday…and my friend sent me a WONDERFUL image of Friday night’s sunset. Sigh. It was similar to yours. I slept in her bunkhouse, which is a screened porch type structure, both nights, listening to Lake Michigan waves from under many layers of clothes and blankets. And a hat and gloves. Today, down here near Detroit it got to 35 and we had frost on the grass. I was appreciating heat and sleeping indoors!

Glad you are having such a good time out on the Cape. I am sure it is beautiful this time of year.

Sounds like a nice outing, even in the cold and no sunset. It got down into the 30s in New Hampshire last night, but, because of the water, stayed in the 50s down here. It is pretty, but not much color. NH is much better for color, but the Cape stays nice for outdoor activity for a longer period, so neither is the absolute winner.

I hope your weekend is going well :)
