Weekly Smile for the First of March 2021 #weeklysmile

Hi all. As many of you may know, I have a house on Cape Cod. Unfortunately, I have not been visiting it very often. In fact, I was last down right around New Year’s Day. But I made it back last week!

I really didn’t do a lot. I did visit the landings near my house. I went running by the beach. I took a long walk in the woods. And I hung out. Not a lot, but it was great to be back after almost two months away!

That was my smile, a few days on Cape Cod.

What made you smile?

Come on, I’m sure you smiled at least once last week.  Why don’t you share it?  I hope you can join in!

Here is list of “rules” and guiding ideas.  If you don’t have time to read it right now, just remember that this is an exercise to spread positivity.  Don’t smile about the misfortune of others.  Don’t smile in a way to excludes others.  Make sure a 12 year old can read it.

To join in, write a post to share your smile and then leave a comment on this post with a link to your smile.  Or, if you prefer, do a pingback to this post (pingback = have a link from your post to this one) (Note – pingbacks have been very inconsistent – please leave a comment :) ).   You can post any time until next Sunday evening (to be simple, I will say midnight GMT, which is 7 PM Sunday for me).   Next week I will compile all of the Smiles and do a separate post of them on Monday morning just before the smile.  (I will shoot for around 7 AM EST).

    Wow! that is some view.
Am glad you made it back to Cape Cod, and that you got some relaxation and running in. I have never run on the beach before – I imagine it is quite challenging.

Thanks, it was great to get back there! The road parallels the beach, so i stay on the road. I have run on the beach, but it is only really doable if the sand is hard enough.

It was a very beautiful moment when I got that photo :) Glad you saw an old friend, and outside where it is safe, even if cold. This last year has been tough and I do want to visit some old friends… have a great week!

Yes, we all do need to relax, and for me, Cape Cod is a place I can really relax!
I’m not sure which post you are talking about. I haven’t done a guest post in a while. Did someone reblog something and I missed it?

That is odd. I don’t follow that blog, but just found it. The bio almost sounds like me (I play my keyboards, not guitar, but, yeah the rest of it… OK, I have done a few health posts, but not often, and not lifestyle). Strange to think of two Trent McDonalds in the blogging world!
