Alone, At Last #nonet

At last we can have our dance, alone
The smell of life is in the air
Your presence makes me feel young
Your flesh so inviting
A bit of pleasure
A bit of pain
Just one bite

This was written for Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge. This week there week a theme of Immortality was chosen by Merril D. Smith. I immediately thought of vampires. Didn’t you? ;) I wrote a nonet.

Thanks. I have written a few but not many. Last week I reposted a vampire story that I wrote 3 years ago for Sue Vincent’s writephoto challenge, so that might be why it was on my mind.
