Hello and Welcome! Come on over and sit down. It is still a little cool, but warming up. Although it will be a very warm (almost hot!) day inland, it will stay jacket weather here today. Anyway, let me get you a large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or some hot cocoa. Oh, where are we? Some may recognize the photo at the top as being from Cape Cod. (More on that later.)
So I drove down here on Wednesday. I did work full days on Thursday and Friday, but I also enjoyed myself. I took a long walk in the woods on Thursday and watched a huge group of osprey diving into the water after alewife (a type of herring). Great! On Friday I did a long paddle on the kayak. Of course there were a lot of osprey. I did a 5 mile run this morning that took me next to the beach (I’m still on the beach access road, not the beach itself) for about half of the run.
Before coming down I did my typical dog play and walks, Trent walks ;), running, exercise, talking to neighbors, massage, playing music, etc. And work, which is still busy but not as insane as it has been. A typical week.
I always talk about the locations of my coffee share photos. I think today I will show them all to you. Here is the first one from early 2014 – it is used only in New Hampshire:

Here are all of the New Hampshire photos.
And here are the Cape Cod photos.
Some may remember other Cape Cod photos, like my stack of Beatles mugs. Those were taken in a house that I sold, so I don’t use them any more. I will eventually take a few replacement photos, I just haven’t had time.
And here is an “on the road” shot for when I am traveling, but not on Cape Cod.

Anyway, now you have the photo to location key ;)
It is a beautiful day and I need to get out! I hope to not be inside for more than a half an hour at any given stretch today – life is too short!
hanks for stopping by! If you have a coffee share, I will try to visit, but no promises – as I said, I plan on being outside all day.
Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkzlinkup to see all of the other shares!
Great walk through the coffee share photos…

I wonder how much you can tell about a guy from his coffee mug collection.
Let me ponder that. . .

lol, I guess I need to add photos of some I don’t show, like the Beatles collection and the Pink Floyd mugs. Oh, and the ski resorts and astronomy ones….

Since I do say, “Some of you may recognize…,” I just wanted to be sure all of you have at least a fighting chance of actually recognizing the cups and locations ;)

Thanks for the yummy coffee! And I love your coffee key and have seen a lot but not all of the photos. Kayaking does sound like fun, but I’m too far away to do it on a regular basis. It would be for a weekend adventure. I think I could rent one at a local place at one of the local beaches. Hmm.. something I may do this year! Have a great weekend! 🤠

I’m glad you enjoyed the coffee-share-mug-photo collection…. lol. I was able to make it out on the kayak again Saturday, which was great. You should try it if you get the chance.

I like how the only picture with snow in it is NH! I lived in MA during snowmagedon, but still associate NH with snow more. I love how you have different pics/mugs for each location.

We do get snow on the Cape, some times a huge amount, but it doesn’t last long. In NH, well, yeah, it can last all winter… Thanks. I still need a good beach photo for the Cape ;)

In NH I have been mostly posting the four season photos lately. I need to add seasons to the Cape Cod photos, and bring back at least a few Beatles mugs… Hope your weekend is going well :)

What’s the story behind the Irish mug? That one and the bat one are my favorites. Glad you had a good week, sometimes “typical” is underrated!

The bat mug is a Edward Gorey illustration – there is a museum to him just a few miles from my place on Cape Cod. There isn’t a good story behind the Irish mug – my last name is “McDonald”, so my mom got me a set of “McDonald’s Pub” coffee mugs when I was in college, many years ago. I still have two of the four. For a while I only used the McDonald’s Pub mugs on the weekends, now I also use the Monet mug that is in the other photos.

I love all of your coffee share photos, but I think I like the one with the coffee cups and pot on the rock the best.

Love the photo location key. There are some fun pictures there. Hope you enjoy your day outside! I sadly will be cleaning and prepping for another house showing… Thanks for the virtual coffee Trent.

Cleaning doesn’t sound too fun, so this afternoon I will do soemthign a little better – doing spring raking and such around the yard ;) (I did just get back from another kayaking paddle). Thanks for stopping in for coffee. I hope your house showing goes well – selling a house is never fun!
