If We Were Having Coffee on the 15th of May, 2021 #weekendcoffeeshare

Hello and Welcome! Come on over and I will get a a large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is a little cool, but warming up nicely. The sun is out and the world is green. It will be great to relax here and look off into the woods. Oh, were are we? This is another new photo so you may not recognize it, but it was taken in New Hampshire.

First, of course is Alexander, AKA Super Scamp. He is a feisty 8 month old kitten that has been turning our house upside down. You can read more about him here. (note – he is that sandy gold, very muted color, but pretty).

Next bit of news is that I had my second Moderna Vovid-19 shot yesterday. My arm is a little sore and I am not 100%, but I’m not sick either.

I have spent large chunks of time working on some music this week. Hopeful I will have something to post soon!

I did the usual, ie, work, running, exercise, playing with dogs, dog walks, etc. A couple of times Idina didn’t want to walk, so I did very long walks with Fiyero at an almost jogging pace. he is funny :)

Between being active, takign care of a new cat, work and recording, I stayed very busy all week, but there is little to say about it.

It will be a busy weekend. i have a ton of work around the house to do (yes, I did a lot outside work last weekend, as I was expecting during my last coffee share). I need to be out in the beautiful weather :) And there are animals that demand my constant attention, not to mention a half done recording!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a great weekend. If you have a coffee share post, I will try to visit, but no promises.

Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkzlinkup to see all of the other shares!

Oh – a few weeks ago I decided to use my page’s “badge” for the InLinkz linkup page so it is the same every week despite the kaleidoscope of photos I use for the share itself. Hope this makes it easier for you :)

Congratulations on getting your second vaccine! My husband got the Moderna shot and he was not feeling 100% either. I remembered when I was about to get my second shot (Pfizer), my coworkers advised me to get Tylenol after I got my shot. Anyways I forgot and I freaked out thinking I was going to get all these side effects. Thankfully I just got a sore deltoid.

Thanks. My biggest issue was the sore arm as well, and it wasn’t even as bad as it was after the first shot, so not big issue. But it is nice to have it out of the way! Glad that you are all set as well.

Alexander is a cute little kitten. I haven’t had the pleasure of playing with a kitten in a long time but I recall them as very funny and full of energy somewhere beyond feisty, haha. Hope you are having a great weekend Trent.

He is very cute :) It has been a long time since we had a kitten – our last three cats came in as adults. At 8 weeks, Alexander is past both some of the cutest parts, but also some of the worst parts – I don’t have scratches all over my hands and arms like I do with small kittens! I hope your weekend is going well and that you have a wonderful week ahead!

Alexander is very cute :) Yes, you should post photos of your new cats. I’m not sure how often you post these days as it seems like it’s been ages since I have seen any. As to shots, I do know a few people who felt a bit sick after the second one, so I am glad I just had a sore arm for a day or so. Thanks for stopping by. Nice “seeing” you.

Alexander is super-cute and super full of mischief ;) It is a relief to have the second shot out of the way. I am planning on traveling this summer, so this will help. Glad that you will have yours in a week.

I well recall the fun and turmoil of having a new kitten in the house to get to know. For a while, it was just he and I in a small apartment so the chaos was contained, but we had so much fun and memories of him still make me smile over 45 years later. Thanks for the visit Trent.

A new kitten can be mix of fun and turmoil… On the plus side, we have never had an animal that felt so at home so rapidly. On the minus side, we have never had an animal that felt so at home so rapidly ;) Thanks for stopping by! Hope the rest of your weekend goes well.

I love cats. He is beautiful. I am fully vaccinated and the only problem I had was the arm pain. Over the last 7 weeks I had at least 15 Covid tests done. They constantly check you while in the rehab hospitals. Right before I got out they had a positive test and so we were tested 2 more times.

Alexander is a great cat. I had a bit of pain in the arm after both shots. The second was a little more intense than the first, but it is pretty much gone while it lasted a few days for first. Glad you had both of yours as well. I’m sure having all of those tests, and then the bit of a scare at the end, didn’t make rehab any easier.

That scare there at the end was intense and I am saying if I have Covid, you gave it to me since I have been here for the last 6 weeks. Luckily I didn’t have it. I was told the second shot would be more intense, but for me it was just a few days of mild pain and it was done.

We now have two dogs, two cats and a parrot. Our dogs really don’t bark much, which is great. I say big dogs don’t bark as much as small dogs, but our neighbor’s large dog barks every time we walk past! Have a great weekend!

Oh, how lovely to be fully vaccinated! And how good to hear you’ve been working on music. I need to come back to my previous practice habits, that I’ve totally lost. But my husband and myself play some tunes together almost every day, so that’s at least something.

Playing some every day, or almost every day, is a plus. I had not been playing much, so I’ve made time to play a little every day, even if just a little. So it is really great to be in this project! And it feels good to have the second vaccine out of the way :) Hope your weekend is going well.
