Hello and Welcome! Come on in and sit down. It is wet and cold (relatively speaking) out there, so being indoors is mandatory. I’ll get you a nice large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or some hot cocoa. You will want soemthign warm! Oh, where are we? Some may recognize the photo at the top as being from Cape Cod.
The big thing is that I spent the week on Cape Cod with just the new kitten, Alexander. Alexander has been my constant companion. He hangs out around me, wants to play with me, needs to sniff every morsel before it enters my mouth and sleeps curled up on my stomach every night. I do not know how he will react when we get back to New Hampshire and the dogs!
And return to NH we soon will. The weather won’t improve much, so I will leave bright and early tomorrow morning. It is a holiday weekend in the US, so I have Monday off and will take Tuesday off as well, but I will spend those days in NH, not the Cape.
This week was about work (yes, I worked all week), walks (including in the woods), kayaking, running, exercise and playing with a kitten. I didn’t go to the beach ( my run goes by the beach). I also read and wrote. There was a bit of keyboard playing, though it is limited here.
Anyway, it has been a lazy day so far, mostly just reading and writing, but I have a long list of things I have to do before I head north.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a great weekend. If you have a coffee share post, I will try to visit, but no promises.
Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkzlinkup to see all of the other shares!
Oh – a few weeks ago I decided to use my page’s “badge” for the InLinkz linkup page so it is the same every week despite the kaleidoscope of photos I use for the share itself. Hope this makes it easier for you :)
This weather is crazy. Super hot and muggy and now cold and wet. I don’t venture outside much since I am still nursing a broken foot and getting around is not easy. Today is nasty. Cold and wet. I love kittens. Miss having one around.

We just returned to New Hampshire and I think being back with the dogs was a bit of a shock to Alexander, but he is back to his old routine and enjoying the place… I didn’t get a lot done yesterday… except for writing, and I got more done than I have in a while, so not too disappointed with the rainy weekend ;) Hope you have a great week!

Haha, poor little Alexander.
Rainy day writing sounds good. I could use one of those days!
Hope you have a great week ahead as well.

I took today off of work as well, and got more accomplished than I did over the last three combined! Well, minus the writing part ;)

This entire weekend has been and will continue to be wet and cold :( But the new kitten is great! We just returned to NH and it took an hour or so for him to get used to the house and dogs again, but he is back in his normal spot, sleeping :) Hope your weekend is going well.

Thanks! He did have some time with the dogs before, so I’m sure he’ll do fine.

He is :) It took a little bit for him to get used to the New Hampshire house (and dogs) after being away for a week, but he is back to the old routines.
