If We Were Havign Coffee on the 31st of July, 2021 #weekendcoffeeshare

Hello and Welcome! Come on over and I’ll get you a nice large mug of very strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is a bright and sunny morning. A little on the cool side (refreshing!) with a nice breeze. The humidity is as low as I’ve seen it in a long time. Perfect! Where are we? Some may recognize the photo at the top as being my backyard on Cape Cod.

OK, for starters i did pick up my car after the last coffee post. I even wrote a weekly smile post about it :)

Besides work this week, I had a Lions Club meeting. I think this was the first normal meeting in over a year. I had a dentist appointment (cleaning, etc.). And I had massage. I walked and played with dogs, walked and played with kittens and just walked on my own. I did a little work around the houses. I ran (I am not running enough and can feel it!). I exercised. I swam in the ocean yesterday afternoon, though it was just a quick dip.

I drove down here Wednesday night. The big news is that we had a new washer and drier delivered on Friday! No more transporting laundry to and from NH. I did a few loads yesterday – I had 15 shirts, not include t-shirts I wear when running or exercising! We had to get small, efficiency units since the doors in the house are so small, but it works great!

Besides that quick dip in the ocean I spoke about earlier, I haven’t done too much outdoor activity down here. I plan on fixing that today ;)

Uhm, that was a bit of a hint – I need to go so I have time to do things. It was nice having you over! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. If you have a coffee share post, I will try to stop by.

Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkzlinkup to see all of the other shares!

    Het Trent.
Sorry for the late arrival this weekend. I was able to post my coffee share Friday am before work but then work kept me busy until it was time to pack and leave for a long drive to spend some vacation days with our youngest son. I’m only now able to circle back and try to catch up.
It sounds like you too have been busy.
I’m hoping to carve out some time to do some writing this week but family stull takes precedence so well see.
    Thanks for the visit.

Washers and driers are essential to my way of thinking. If I had one in my apartment I could have done my own laundry, but no I have to drag it downstairs and I can’t do that so I am stuck waiting for an aid to appear which isn’t happening like it should. Maybe tomorrow she says, yeah I hope so. Or I will be begging my daughter to come and get it for me and she doesn’t live real close.

The owner/manager called me to day to tell me that they found someone for the rest of the week and then proceeded to tell me why she does things the way she does and she knows I don’t understand and blah, blah, blah. In other words I should be glad that I have what I have and am not totally disabled yet etc.

Thanks! Yeah, the washer and dryer do make the house more livable, more of a home. I did spend quite a bit of time outside yesterday and hope to again today :) Hope you are having a wonderful weekend as well.

I’ve been a mountain person through most of my life, but I am getting very used to living close to the ocean :) Spent most of the day outside and plan on it again tomorrow… Hope your weekend is going well.

I hope you’re having a blast outside today! It’s raining here, and it has been thundering for a while. My daughter and I walked into the old part of town just before the thunder started, it was nice. I might walk around one off the lakes tonight. Thank you for the coffee! No humidity is very nice! Congrats to the new washer and dryer!

I didn’t do much, but did spend most of the day outside, and plan on going back out after this break :) This has been a very wet summer, so I can sympathize with the rain. Glad you got to walk into the old part of town before the thunder and hope you get the walk around the lake in :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
