Perhaps It’s Time

PHOTO PROMPT -Brenda Cox

We made the list again, Mr. Mayor.

We finally broke the top 10 best city for a new business?

No, we are still in bottom five of bicycle accessible cities.  Perhaps it’s time…

I will not inconvenience a single car for those wing-nuts.

The economist all say…

I don’t care.

The protests are getting bigger.

Tell the police chief I want him to start shooting those eco-terrorists.

Tell him yourself – he’s leading the protests and is outside your window.

What?

On a bike…

On the twelfth floor?

If they can’t ride on the roads…

Any allies?

No.

Perhaps it’s time…

Both. And I totally get it. I’m not real tactful when I have a strong opinion, either. I keep telling people around me that just because I “choose” to be silent doesn’t mean that I don’t have an opinion… most often it’s because it’s opposite theirs and I do try to avoid undue conflict. AT the moment, I’m all for masks and not being silent. If people WANT to see their children in coffins, then by all means, keep arguing against them. You’ll be doing the world a favor by reducing the population. You can see how that opinion would be rather argumentative in a land where people refuse both vaccines and masks. Grrr… Perhaps it is time… as you say… for reality to bite them in the ***.

    I love this line:
“Tell the police chief I want him to start shooting those eco-terrorists.”
Great story with a pointed message. Bike-friendly is the way to go for every city everywhere.

I agree, everywhere needs to get more bike-friendly. There may be some mayors out there that would tell the police chief those words, but I see more governors who take that position….

I think you’re right. Any state that makes a lot of money from the petroleum industry in any of its myriad and nefarious ways :( We need to stop sucking on the petroleum teat and save our planet!
