If We Were Having Coffee on the 9th of October, 2021 #weekendcoffeeshare

Hello and Welcome! Come on over and I’ll get you a super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or other beverage. It is a little cool, but sunny and comfortable, so being outside is very much called for. Today won’t be as warm as yesterday, but still slightly on the warm side of average, and a gorgeous October day! Oh, where are we? Some of you may recognize the photo at the top as being on Cape Cod.

I drove down here on Thursday night with the little kitten, Tiberius. Alexander was supposed to come as well, but disappeared just before I needed him. I looked and called, but no Alexander. I hear that about 4 hours later (yes after 10 PM…) the dogs started going crazy and Alexander showed up. He was someplace in the house napping, but it is so funny that the dogs knew we were trying to find him!

I know I am a little late for coffee, but I just got back from a very long paddle on the kayak. It was great! Yesterday I took a half day from work and took a long walk on the beach and a short swim. Yes, swim in October. I also mowed and did some yard work.

I had to visit the dentist on Thursday, but it was smooth. i had a massage on Wednesday. It seems like something was going on every day this week, if you include normal shopping and emergency runs to the store.

I did get some exercise in this week, including my mountain run. And there was plenty of dog walks and very long walks sans-dogs. I also did dog play, “walks” with Alexander (If I didn’t have the other end of the leash, he would have had a chipmunk on every one of the “walks”). The weather turned back to nice on Wednesday and the leaves have started to turn, though they are a week behind. Also a lot of maple leaves fell without turning color, which is a shame since the maples usually put on the best show. The Cape is still green.

Work was very busy.

I read and played music, including a little recording. I did no writing nor any blogging beyond my Monday Weekly Smile.

So that was my week. It was actually very nice :)

And thinking of nice, the blue skies sure look nice… I here the outside calling my name, so I need to get away from this stupid computer and go explore and see if I can figure out what it is saying.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have a coffee post I will try to stop by, but no promises.

Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkzlinkup to see all of the other shares!

Sounds like a pretty good week all around – with a fair balance of inside/outside and work/play time, animals + shenanigans, included – so win/win!
Continue to enjoy the great weather – it will eventually turn – and hopefully the lights will dim a bit more, so you can start to enjoy the colours – here, in “cottage country” north of Montreal, Qc – we’re in ripe full swing – and yeah, maples – are delicious – the sugar varieties offering the best of the best, but all sorts, swathed with evergreens, certainly makes for a delightful platter. I hope your NH season will be equally entertaining. Cheers and see you around :)

Thanks! It was a very good week and I had a great weekend, obviously mostly spent away from the computer :) We will have at least one more week of warmer than usual weather. The leaves in NH are doing well, though with a lot of the maples missing, it isn’t as nice as most years. Oh well. Glad you are deep into the foliage season. Hope you had a good weekend and a wonderful week ahead :”

Sounds like you had a great week. Fall foliage is late here, too due to the continuing warm weather. Today’s high is 19C (66F) and forecast calls for 24C (75F) on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!
