Hello and Welcome. Come on in and I’ll get you a nice mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or some hot cocoa. It is wet and cold outside, but what is new? Actually, we had some dry weather on Thursday and Friday, which was great. It was cool, but it is late October, so… Oh, where are we? Some of you may recognize the photo at the top as being from New Hampshire.
I guess the big thing this week was my return to blogging. I had four posts this week, five including this one. That is up from one or two a week over the last two or three months. More than that, I actually was able to read some blog posts. I still don’t feel like I have time to turn around, but…
Next thing is the return to my music project. I do like the recording I did, but parts of it are very out of synch. Some people didn’t notice or care, but others did. And, you know, it is pretty good, so why not make it better? I would not/could not release this on an album, so why release it on YouTube? So I have been practicing. I can play through with a metronome and pretty much be spot on, thought there are still a few rough areas. I hope to record this weekend.
I did a little reading this week, but not much. I ran on Sunday and Thursday (both dry days!). I did some weight exercises, though am a little behind. There was a Lions Club meeting and I had to take my car in for its yearly inspection – from leaving the house to getting home was almost three hours :( I did some dog walks, though it was a little difficult in the rain. Work was very busy again this week, though a few things cleared up a good way, so…
Tiberius is sick again. He never totally got over his upper respiratory thing and midweek was not right. To the vet he went and had 105 fever! He is on all types of meds and goes back next week. Poor little guy. He is cuddled on my lap as I type (one handed type so I can hold him).
Well, that is about it. I do have a lot to do, and will go out into the rain a little. There is also my music project calling me, plus finger exercises. And, of course, I am needed by a sick kitten…
Thanks for stopping in! If you have a coffee share, I will try to stop by and say “Hi.”
Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkz-Linkup to see all of the other shares!
Poor Tiberius Trent. Something weird must be going on if you and your vet’s attention haven’t gotten him past this yet. I hope you find a solution soon. It’s hard loving an animal who can’t understand why they feel so awful.

The poor little guy has had a rough run of things. With the new meds, all of the upper respiratory stuff has gone away, but he still has some of the other odd symptoms, so we think it might be an ear polyp – we’ll find out Wednesday when he goes back to the vet.
Hope you had a great weekend.

I think he will feel a lot better when we stop prodding and poking him, putting stuff in his ear, eye and jamming stuff down his throat.. lol. Poor little guy is feeling a bit better. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks. it is pretty awful for such a tiny kitten. He does seem to be on the mend, but there may be something else, like an ear polyp, going on.
Hope your weekend is going well.

It is pretty awful when the little kittens are sick. he is doing better, but I think there is some way to go yet. I started the actual recording yesterday and think it is much cleaner, though still mistakes. Still, it’s fun to try.

Ah, I just remembered how to follow a blog without getting emails and so I put your photo and music blogs into my reader. Hopefully I’ll start seeing them.

Oh, that’s very good! RSS readers are very convenient. I’ve never used them before but started a while ago, I found a good app that is available for both my laptop and iPad, so that is great.

I think it is easier to follow blogs using the Word Press “Reader” – I just scroll through and read what hits my interest at the time. I don’t like having my mail clogged up with all of the email the blogs create, so all of the emails goes to an account that I only occasionally read (let me know if you ever want to email me and I will give you my real address ;) ).

Thanks. We are seeing a lot of improvement in Tiberius, though some of the systems are persisting. We is playing more again, so that is a huge plus.

Awww, poor kitty. It’s like when little kids are sick and they can’t tell you what’s wrong. My daughter’s kitten is not well either. She’s around 5 months, if memory serves. My daughter thinks it’s a blood sugar problem. She’s changing food and watching her carefully. She also tried a little bit of Karo in her food. It seems to help but she needs to be watched. Blood sugar isn’t anything to mess with.
We had the first really beautiful weather yesterday. It made me smile to see all the autumn colors contrasting with the deep blue sky. I took a gazillion pictures!
Have a great week. I hope Tiberius improves!

Tiberius is also about 5 months. It is hard when they are sick. I hope your daughter figures out what is going on with her kitten!
After a rainy day yesterday, today looks nice here as well. It will be nice to get out a little more. Hope the rest of your weekend goes well :)

The lack of day light hours doesn’t help! There are a lot of things that I know that are limiting my time more, but I also know a lot of it is just perception, like those day light hours…
Thanks. the meds are helping :)

Thanks! I think little Tiberius is pretty much over the upper respiratory infection, but there might be something else, like a polyp in his ear. We’ll see. but he’s still cute :)

Thanks. A lot of his symptoms are going away, so we are hopeful, but there are still a few issues. We’ll see what the vet says on Wednesday.

Best wishes for the kitten. I am hoping to get back to piano playing, once again. Beginners warm-up exercises, but still… I have enjoyed your music and look forward to more.

Thanks, Tiberius has improved, but still has a long way to go. We’ll see what the vet says on Wednesday.
I have gone back to the beginning in some ways, playing all of those beginner exercises to get my fingers to move the way they are supposed to. We’ll see where it takes me :) Thanks. Hope your weekend is going well.
