Hello and Welcome! Come on in, brush the snow off, and I’ll get you a nice large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or some hot cocoa. Pretty nasty out there, isn’t it? Well, actually, not yet, it is slowly coming down, but not awful. Later today, it may become quite awful… I’ve heard forecasts for up to 2 feet (60 cm) of snow, with some places getting up to 30 inches (76 cm)! Oh, were are we? By the photo at the top you may realize that we are in New Hampshire. Actually, Cape Cod is supposed to be pummeled today, so maybe good I am not there…
This was a busy week. Work was busy, as it has been. A few projects going along, a few small set backs, a few moves forward. On outage – boo, don’t like those.
The last few weeks, and the next few weeks, I’ve had a lot of appointments and things. I had a doctor’s appointment on Thursday, a massage appointment on Wednesday, Lions Club on Tuesday, I had an online meeting with siblings (future plans, etc – maybe more later :) ) both over the weekend and again Wednesday evening, a run out for passport photos, etc.
I did some of the normal things, like dog walks, but the week was frigid. We also had a little (very little) snow to shovel. My exercise routine has been awful for quite a while.
I did some reading and messed around with music a bit.
That is mostly it. Today I will be doing music most of the day, reading a little for breaks, and playing in the snow when I can ;)
Anyway, I have to be on my way. Thanks for stopping in! If you have a coffee share, I will try to visit.
Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkz-Linkup to see all of the other shares!
Hi T – hope your music time was enjoyable – and the laying the snow too – hahaha
young at heart amigo – keep doing what you do

Hi Y! Yes, playing in the snow with the puppies keeps me young at heart lol We didn’t get hit too bad here, but I will go down to the Cape later this week and see… And music was enjoyable :)
Hope you had a great weekend and have a wonderful week ahead.
(Oh, BTW, I am about 35 pages into a new book named Bleak House…)

Re: the book
I am glad you got a jump on it.
I need to order my hard copy
so excited
and I might post on Sunday the 6th or Monday the 7th – not sure – but the first one will be simple and using last year’s post as template

I’m going to shoot for the 7th, though I guess the 6th would work.
This time I hope to have it done well ahead of time and not read it in a last minute panic ;)

Hi T – my posting dates are changing right now so I am not sure what will work – keep you posted
–
and same here – would like to be early on this one – even though you crammed more at the end than I did. = and by the way – that was still kind of fun to hear the way you immersed to finish – a fun story and thrilling to imagine you flipping pages and dedicated to get it done like that – :)
but with that said – not ideal to always do that eh?

I almost always read like that, but not to that extreme – I read a few pages at a time when I go to bed. As I get more engrossed, I read more pages. Then I read at dinner. Then I read in the evening. And I usually finish the last quarter or eighth in a single session. lol. Anyway, I am now over 50 pages in. I most likely will post on the 7th, but we’ll see.

Ah yes, the passport question. All of ours have expired and I’ve not been able to find a covid-compliant reason to renew them.
Have a great week Trent.

I most likely will be traveling come August, and my passport has been expired for ages. We’ll just have to see how it all works out with Covid and all. I did fly last summer without issue, and won’t mind wearing an N95 for a long international flight, if need be.
Thanks, hope you have a great week as well.

Thanks. Actually, where I am in New Hampshire we missed the worst of it. I will have to go down to the Cape later in the week and see if there was any damage down there… Have a great week.

I’m sorry you’ve been unwell – hope you are getting better!
Where I am now didn’t get hit too bad. It is very cold and such, but nothing like some areas, include where my house on Cape Cod is – that area got hit super hard!
Thanks for the visit! Hope you continue to feel better!

I just watched the evening news and boy oh boy, what a big storm and am so happy you aren’t at the Cape! Like you said looks like it’s getting pummeled. They showed lots and lots of snow and it sounds like a very cold snowy weekend! Stay warm and thanks for the coffee! ☕🤠

I think the power is still out on the Cape… yeah, we didn’t get hit too bad where I am, but it is cold! I’ll finish clearing the snow off my drive later this morning, but it will be easy, and I can easily come inside and warm up if needed.
Hope you and your horses are having a great weekend! I’ll stop by later to see if you posted a coffee share or anything else I might have missed.

Aww, you are so sweet and am enjoying the weekend with my horses and I know you visited last week’s coffee share but the week before I shared a smile post on your smile post that I think you missed. But no worries, I know this happens. (I may be wrong about that, as I didn’t check the likes. 😜) I’m trying to get better about checking my stats. Lol

I think I may have seen it but didn’t comment – I’ll check just to be sure :)

I don’t know why but I feel bad even mentioning it because I get so busy I’ll like posts and not have time to comment. It’s all good and no worries at all!! Thank you!!!

lol, I get it. I sometimes “bug” people about posts and such, and then feel rotten that I did. And I often read things without comments, so… All’s good :)

60 cm of snow! 😬 That sounds very disruptive! I hope it doesn’t get so bad! I remember the winters of 2009 and 2010 in Saeden, we had a series of very heavy snowfalls and probably had at least 60-70 cm… just awful. But the people who likes winter were happy.
Enjoy your music, and have a good weekend.

We do get a storm like that every couple of years here, so not terrible, but the people farther south, or in close to Boston, aren’t as used to it! If I don’t have any place to go, or anything I really have to do, it isn’t bad being snowed in, but, yeah, it can get old!
Hope your weekend is going well and that you have a wonderful week ahead!

Do you ever feel appointmentED out? I had a string of weeks with a number of appointments for one thing or the other and finally I was like this is enough a need a week without one one single appointment. Haha. Anyway, hope you have a great day. Thanks for the virtual coffee.

Yep, I am getting appointmented out. I get into habits of what I do when, and having a constant stream of things I have to do interrupts it . lol. Thanks, hope you are having a great weekend with your blue haired boys.

Yes, that is totally it, interruptions.
Hope you have a great weekend too.

That is a lot of snow you are expecting! We expect to get some next week, but right now it is warm and raining. Crazy weather, tomorrow its supposed to be very windy, a big storm coming in, bringing the snow for next week. Thank you for the coffee.

We typically get at least one 20 inch storm a year up in New Hampshire, some times a four or five storms of over a foot, so we are used to it. Still, it can be a lot of snow! I’m far enough from the coast that this storm isn’t as bad. Does sound like crazy weather there! have a great weekend!

Hope it isn’t as bad as the weather people are predicting.

Out where I am it isn’t that bad, but I think closer to the coast they are getting hit harder than we are. But then, there are still 5 or 6 hours of storm in front of us, so who knows?
