Force of Nature #tanka

stop in the action
moment of Zen on four paws
soft purr fills the air
invisible when wanted
black and white force of nature

This was written for Colleen’s poetry challenge. This week we are to chose a color and form. The last time I chose “White”, so I will go with Black” this time :) And I did a tanka.

Thanks! And, yes, kittens do have that contradiction of being able to stare at a spot on the wall for hours on end, and then be into every single thing seemingly at once, a pure force of nature ;)

I think so, though they do have the term “cat nap”, which is appropriate. But, yeah, for that long, contented sleep, I know cats are far less cranky than babies can be at times ;)

Little Tiberius is very beautiful. I won’t speak about his tastes in music, but when I took this photo, he was very much helping with a recording of Bach’s Little Fugue in G Minor ;) Thanks!
