Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll grab you a super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea, some hot cocoa or other beverage. It is a beautiful day out there, if a little chilly right. There is almost no wind and the sun more than compensates for the chill, so we can go down to one of the landings to sip our beverage. When I was at the farther landing earlier today, there were a lot of people getting ready to into the water. OK, they had waders on, and it is low tide, so the water is shallow, but still, at 23 F/-5 C? Yes, these people are shellfishing, and, as I said, it actually felt very warm in the direct sun, despite what the thermometer said. Oh, where are we? If you didn’t catch the clues and didn’t recognize the photo at the top, we are on Cape Cod.
I drove down here on Tuesday night with the kittens. I did work Wednesday and Thursday, but that wasn’t an issue. I have been to the beach a few times, took a very long walk in the woods, of course visited the landings dozens of times and puttered around the house. Oh, and a lot of cat and kitten play!
This was an odd week in that I had no appointments! Not one, which is why I was able to make it down here on Tuesday. I did get the lab report back from my blood test (all excellent), and checked the status of my passport (they have it and I should get it back in a couple of months…)
I did a major redesign of my studio, and things look and sound good, but of course I went down here and haven’t had time to use it. I have been playing music, practicing and just jamming.
Beyond that, not much to report – reading, working, hanging out, etc.
Anyway, I plan on spending as much time outside as possible today, so I need to be on my way. Thanks for stopping by for a chat and coffee! If you have a coffee share, I’ll try to stop in and say “Hi!”
Natalie the Explorer is now the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkz-Linkup to see all of the other shares!
Redesign of your studio sounds great but not much fund not to be able to use it. I have a study, in constant chaos that I try and stay on top of. The more space I create, the more opportunity to spill out!

I have been home for a couple of days, but have been too busy to do much! Oh well, I’ll soon get a chance to enjoy “the fruits of my labor” ;) It just seems to go that, the more time you take creating the space for yourself, the harder it is to use it.

The mentions of kittens, this weekend, has me remembering my life in a household filled with cats, starting just before my freshman year in high school. They are so different from dogs, sharing living space with each.
We are also having atypical weather patterns, this winter, and it is becoming quite an annoyance. ::sigh:: Keep warm!

Cats and dogs are so different, but they get along really well in our household, which is great. I like both personality types and like the alone time with the cats on occasion.
Yeah, we are now stuck in yo-yo weather and will see 60 F rain followed by 20 F snow (a foot of it!) within a period of three days…
Have a great week!

Always a big sigh of relief when the blood work comes back all good, isn’t it! Congratulations!

My cholesterol, along with blood pressure, really follow my exercise routine much more than my diet, so, since my exercise has been off since November, a huge relief! I don’t want to take cholesterol meds ;) Hope you are having a great weekend!

I drove back to NH last night – a lot of snow squalls and frigid over night, but bright and sunny today… Have a great weekend!

I did reorganize the space a little, but it was mostly reorganizing the cabling – I have about 50 cables connecting things. I unplugged each and every one and redid the routing from scratch. Yes, musical nerdism ;) Thanks for stopping by!

Honestly reorganizing of any kind gives a sense of fulfillment.
Musical nerdism, haha, that’s great.
Have a great week Trent.

This reorganization changes the way I interact with the instruments (sort of, at least while recording), which I guess is what any good reorganization does – it makes you think and act different, even if it means walking over there instead of here so you don’t bang your shin on an ottoman.. ;)

The studio makeover likely took some time, but I bet was well worth the effort.
Hope there’s a great (shortened) week coming your way.

Although I did some prep-work before hand, pretty much all Sunday afternoon and evening was spent doing it – every cable was disconnected and reconnect at some point…
Thanks! Hope you have great weekend and week ahead (shortened if you have Presidents’ Day off, which I do :) )

We do have snow in the forecast (actually when I am back in NH) – despite some recent warm weather, it is still winter.
