Hello and Welcome! Come in and I’ll get you a large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea, a mug of cocoa or other beverage. Hmmm, this is an odd one – I am writing this on Friday at lunch time instead of Saturday as I sip my coffee after breakfast. I have plans all Saturday morning, so… And where are we that I have to meet you for an after-lunch coffee on Friday instead of an after-breakfast coffee on Saturday? Some of you may recognize the photo at the top as being from New Hampshire.
We had unseasonably warm weather this week. It did reach, and surpass, 60 F/ 15 C at least Wednesday, though it missed the mark on Thursday, which was supposed to be the warmest day (they had originally said 65F/18C, but it turned out 57F/14C). I wasn’t out as much as I would have liked, but I did run on Sunday and Wednesday (I will today, if the rain stops) and took the dogs for several walks. Funny, but Idina likes walking in the cooler weather than warm! Winter will return tomorrow…
Work wasn’t as bad this week as last.
Besides the runs and walks, I read and did stuff like that. I also wrote and recorded a new song. (You can watch the video here – I’ll make a post about it later. Voice is, well, so I won’t win any contests ;) (Edit – here is an all instrumental version!)). I exercised. I had Lions Club on Tuesday. Seems like a lot more, but then again, writing and recording a song takes a lot of time, so maybe not…
Well, that was a nice little lunch break, but I have to get back to work.
Thanks for stopping in! I will try to make a visit to all of the coffee shares over the weekend, so if you have one, I’ll see you there :)
Natalie the Explorer is the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkz-Linkup to see all of the other shares!

Hi Trent – we had the warm weather and then the last two days have been so cold – brrr – and I read in the comment above that you have a few storms coming – sounds like the dogs will have a bit more snow to enjoy :)

Yesterday was gorgeous here – the best day in a while, but I woke up to snow. It will get frigid (mid-January cold) later this week and will snow off and on every day for perhaps a foot or more.. yep, the dogs will get snow to play in :)

I want a little more snow but not sure how the outlook is for my area – we have had a few snowless winters (black ice tho – and that is terrible)
oh ans thanks for the link to Robbie’s post
she is early – but I have a feeling she is reading all of the novellas that came in her book – so we might see more posts

This has been an odd winter for snow – less than usual and all in one or two big events. I do hate black ice! Ice storms are the worst, and they get them a lot in like OK and KA.
I am assuming Robbie will do more Dickens posts as well. I should get my book Friday and I plan on reading all of the stories in it.

I am so glad that you are getting your book and will start reading.
I have been skimming so many different options I think it is time for me to select.
I plan on making my choice so I can read my novella in March.

I am reading other things right now, so it might be mid-March before I actually start reading it, but it will be nice to have the book in hand. I’ll do a reminder post perhaps next Thursday using a photo of the book.

Trent, We had that warmup as well, then two days with lows in the 40s and the high of 62. It looks like we are back to highs in the low 80s again. The plants are confused, but that seems to happen every year now. LoL! Have a great week!

Low of 40 high of 62 is Spring around here ;) I did see an article saying the yo-yo weather this year is more drastic than most years, and I believe it – from record highs to record lows.
Have a great week!

Snow? I feel sure the dogs liked their walks. Our Schnauzers are always up for it, unless it is raining! Enjoy your week, Trent.

Sounds like your week had a nice balance of work, rest, and creating. Congrats on the new song!
We got a break from winter yesterday (about 75 and sunny and so perfect it hurt every time I had to go inside), but winter is back today. It’s supposed to be cloudy and rainy all week, which is so weird for Tucson.
Have a good one!

It was a pretty good week :) Our early spring is gone and they are talking about three different snow storms in the next week, which is actually pretty typical for this time of the year in New Hampshire…
Have a great week!

Hey Trent.
That does sound like a warm few days for your corner of the country.
Glad you got out to enjoy it.
Things are getting dry enough here to restart some out doors chores, but I’m loving all the green around us so it’s all good.
Hope you’re having a great weekend.

The bit of early spring was nice. Unfortunately winter is returning this week. Maybe. They keep changing the forecast from 4 different snow storms to 4 rain storms with a little mixed precipitation.
But now it is sunny, beautiful and warm enough :)
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Sounds like we’ve had similar weather patterns during the week. Fortunately, this weekend is sunny with daytime highs 39F to 43F in my corner of the world. Thank you for your Friday coffee share. I hope you have a great weekend!

It does sound similar. We did have some cold last night, but I think our high is close to 39F and will be around 45F tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping in!

We have snow in Nova Scotia. But this coffee was so amazing. Let’s follow our blogs. Anita

Despite our warm weather last week, I think we are supposed to get snow on three or four different days next week. Oh well, it is still winter, even if not as cold as in Nova Scotia. I visited “Old Scotia” ;) last year, haven’t made it to any of The Maritimes yet.
Thanks for stopping in for coffee! I’ll stop by and check out your blog later.

Seems lots of places are having spring weather. It snowed in my part of the world this week! Glad you made it for a virtual coffee. Wishing you a smooth and speedy rest of your work day.

I know a big chunk of eastern US has had a warm week. We will see winter again tomorrow, and I think there are at least two snow storms for next week, so this bit of spring was just a tease….
Thanks! Have a wonderful weekend :)

Leave it to spring to get everyone’s hopes up. It snowed yesterday for a lengthy period of time, but it didn’t really accumulate. I suppose it’s only February, perhaps by end of March. That said we’ve seen snow in June, haha. Happy Sunday, Trent.

Yeah, we will get snow in March. I’ve seen snow in mid May a few times here, but not June. So, yeah, spring was teasing us, but I know not to get too excited until the end of March.
