Hi All! If you read my coffee post you know I had an ultra-busy week. Hmm, that was the second week in a row that was so straight out that I couldn’t think straight by the end of the day, and this week is starting off the same with meetings all day. As long as I don’t get 200,000 pings an hour like I have been… hmmm. Any smiles there?
Well a couple :)
First, still thinking work, we met a very important target date in a very important project. plenty of smiles there. Though the work has not paused at all…
I was on Cape Cod all week last week. i didn’t do a lot of my usual stuff since I was so busy, but I did get a good walk in and two short paddles on the kayak. The time on Cape Cod is always a plus, and getting out on the water is a huge smile :)
Besides the long walk in the woods on Saturday on Cape Cod, I had two long walks with Fieyro, one on Cape Cod, and one in the rain here in New Hampshire. The one on Cape Cod brought him to places he had never been and the one in New Hampshire was over a few hills, through the woods and by a pond. I was soaked, but it was fun. So those walks were big smiles :)
So those were my smiles for the week, hitting an important deadline at work, being on Cape Cod for a week and doing a couple of very long walks with Fiyero.
What made you smile?

Come on, I’m sure you smiled at least once last week. Why don’t you share it? I hope you can join in!
Here is list of “rules” and guiding ideas. If you don’t have time to read it right now, just remember that this is an exercise to spread positivity. Don’t smile about the misfortune of others. Don’t smile in a way to excludes others. Make sure a 12 year old can read it.
To join in, write a post to share your smile and then leave a comment on this post with a link to your smile. Or, if you prefer, do a pingback to this post (pingback = have a link from your post to this one) (Note – pingbacks have been very inconsistent – please leave a comment :) ). You can post any time until next Sunday evening (to be simple, I will say midnight GMT, which is 7 PM Sunday for me). Note – I am no longer compiling the smiles into a weekly post as I used to – Sorry, I do not have time.

Sounds like this was a satisfying week, Trent – and a lovely balance of smiles at work and in nature!

Over all it was a satisfying week – having the time off, getting stuff done and enjoying nature were all great.

Well for some reason I’m no longer getting notifications when you post..and just this week wondered how you’ve been. I see busy, even busier than usual! But all good busy I hope. We have weeks where we’re swamped with mostly doctor visits and then weeks with nothing much going on. The new puppy, however, keeps us busy (and smiling) all the time! I hope this week is calmer for you!

WordPress does those odd things like that. Glad you found me! This week is another busy one, but not quite as stressful as last week. And it is better than doctor visits… I’m sure the puppy does keep you very busy and I’m sure brings you many smiles :)

I smile a lot, Trent, but then I try to write about it, and the words get swallowed up in mush, LOL. Vince was sick this week and now is better, so I’m smiling about that. Busy week ahead remodeling our kitchen – his mess more than mine. I’m working out at the gym at 11 with my former neighbor who used to be a trainer at an independent living center – perfect! Actually, it is perfect. She’s 41, looks 20, and I have high hopes of looking just like her in a couple of weeks. :)

Sounds like a few things to smile about, though I am sure there will be big smiles when the kitchen remodel is finished… My problem is I am so busy I haven’t been able to exercise and I feel it. this week I am straight out at work and have something planned every day, so I can’t this week either. Anyway, hope you have a wonderful week!

There are some advantages to retirement. Most of us don’t know how in the world we had time to work! That would be me.

Yeah, I am looking forward to that day when I can finally retire. Won’t be too much longer…

Yes, it was a very busy week, and this is starting off that way as well. Cool both that your daughter was able to study in London and that she is home :)
