If We Were Having Coffee on the 6th of May, 2023 #weekendcoffeeshare

Hello and Welcome! Come on in and I’ll get you a large mug of super strong dark roast, a cuppa tea or some hot cocoa. It is pretty nice out there and will turn into a beautiful day! After all of the rain this week, that will be very welcome. Yeah, it was wet and cold, so… Anyway, I am sure you are asking, where are we this week? Some of you may recognize the photo at the top as being from New Hampshire.

Work was, well… Anyway, I am just glad the work week is over!!!

It was another week that I felt so super beat up every day from work that I couldn’t function after. Hmmm, what did I do? I visited with friends on Monday, had a massage on Wednesday, took dogs for walks (they were very demanding since I couldn’t walk them during work hours), I read a little and I played some music. I did do a recording, with the bulk being done Sunday evening and the finishing bits after work on Monday before I went to my friend’s house – I’ll post at bottom.

That was about it. I did zero exercise, which is super unusual for me. OK, maybe my couple of super long walks with Fiyero count – we go at a slow jog pace – I did one late Thursday after work called me at dinner time and one at about the same time on Friday just because.

All of that being said, I am going outside as soon as I finish this post. I do have plans this evening, but will try to spend every second of today that I can breathing fresh air.

Thanks for stopping in! If you have a coffee share, I will try to visit, but it may take a while – I do not want to be in the house, and when I am, I do not want to be at the computer!

Natalie the Explorer is the host of the weekend coffee share and she is doing a wonderful job. Stop in at this week’s main share page or go to the InLinkz-Linkup to see all of the other shares!

Thanks for stopping by The Moments Between, this weekend. I hope that you catch up on your relaxation time. (I enjoy your musical endeavors.) I have had a fun time over the past 20-some years and a number of my wordpress are still around. (I do still miss the HTML hand coding, though.)

lol, yeah, I started creating web pages doing html in notepad and even huge Perl scripts in notepad… I am fine with not worrying about what is going on under the covers these days.
I hope you had a good weekend :) Have a wonderful week.

I enjoyed listening to your music while taking a moment to relax. It’s been nice weather here, though the forecast is calling for rain the rest of the week. Hopefully that means above freezing temperatures to get us through to mid-May so the garden can start growing without having to replace the frost bitten plants again.

Thanks! We were in the upper 70s over the weekend and will be in the 60s and 70s all week – perfect weather after all of our rain! We should start seeing a lot of flowers after this rain.
Are in Georgia? If we are so warm up in NH, I can’t see you being too much colder, though I know it is possible you can be a lot wetter! Systems often pass south of us.
Hope you have a wonderful week and that your garden thrives in the rain.

I was out quite a bit yesterday and so far today – I do hope to get out more, though :) I’ve had a string of several weeks that have been over the top, which is part of why it is so bad – one I can handle, but…
Thanks! I think the trillium are past now, but they are great early spring flowers and there are bunch in the woods behind my house.

I know there have been a few places up north that have seen late season snow, but luckily it wasn’t us! I don’t want to drag that photo out again until late December…
Thanks! Yes, I sang on this. It was a very quick vocal – I had the recording completed within 20 minutes of writing the words.
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Today was pretty warm, sunny and over 75. After raining and 45 all week, it was nice… Also the reason why I tried to avoid being inside.
Yep, long week, though not all bad.
Thanks, and thanks re: the music :) have a great weekend!

Seventy-five is perfect in my book. I’m in Scottsdale this week – blogger meetup. It’s been in the low 80s – still perfect. Vince has been home babysitting the house since the hot water heater died and the hot water fuels the furnace. It’s pretty funky and about 50 in the house. He’s coming here today for a break. Our furry cat doesn’t mind the cool at all.

I actually like high 60s and low 70s, but will not complain one bit about upper 70s! My dog, Fiyero, does not do well when it is above the mid-60s and had a hard time on the long walks the last two days.
Wow, I’ve had my house down to 50 in the winter with a heater outage, but that was when it was freezing outside.
          Enjoy your time in Scottsdale!

It’s beautiful here, Trent. I took a 10,000 step walk this morning on the bike path, and I could have gone farther. I interviewed a homeless man along the way. My husband wanted to spank me. I’m going to share it in my next post. Homelessness is a puzzle and concern of mine. Why do people become homeless and why do they choose, or what causes them to stay that way? Must me all the Dickens reading. He attacked that problem a lot.
