Continue readingOne of my recent projects has been recording JS Bach’s Little Fugue in G Minor with a synthesizer. I will post the video here in case you you want to hear it but don’t want to read about it. Be aware that I did a few fumbles, but I think overall it worked well.

I was at a friend’s home studio. She wanted me to throw a few keyboard tracks on a tape her band was making. Yes, I said “tape” – this was eons ago. Her multi-instrumentalist husband came in and asked about coffee.
“No thanks, I don’t drink coffee,” I said. “Just bring in some water. Thanks!”
He gave me a strange look and said, “You’re the first creative type I’ve met who didn’t drink coffee by the gallon.”
